For the second time in her career, Bencic defeated four consecutive top-ten players en route to a Premier 5 title. The 2024 Koper Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the third edition of the tournament, which was part of the 2024 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. It took place in Koper, Slovenia, between 15 and 21 April 2024.

Irina Bara and Andreea Mitu were the defending champions but Bara chose not to participate. Mitu partnered alongside Lina Gjorcheska, but lost to Veronika Erjavec and Dominika Šalková in the semifinals.
