The 2024 Women's Indoor Hockey Asia Cup was the ninth edition of the Women's Indoor Hockey Asia Cup, the biennial international women's indoor hockey championship of Asia organized by the Asian Hockey Federation.

Contents

It was held at the Thailand National Sport University in Chonburi, Thailand from 13 to 16 May 2024. [1]

The hosts and defending champions Thailand won their second title by defeating Kazakhstan 6–2 in the final. [2] Malaysia won the bronze medal by defeating Indonesia 4–0. [3] As winners, Thailand qualified for the 2025 Women's FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup. [4] [5] [6]

It was the second World Cup Final appearance for both the nations; Pakistan was the winner of the inaugural World Cup in 1971, and India, the runner-up of 1973 edition. Germany defeated hosts, Malaysia, with a goal difference of 4–0 for third place.

The Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup is a men's international under-21 field hockey tournament organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. The tournament has been held since 1988 and serves as a qualification tournament for the Men's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup. Competitors must be under the age of 21 as of December 31 in the year before the tournament is held.
