The 2030 EHF European Men's Handball Championship, commonly referred to as the EHF EURO 2030, will be the 19th edition of the EHF European Men's Handball Championship, the biennial international men's handball championship of Europe organized by EHF. The tournament will be held in Czech Republic, Poland and Denmark from 10 to 27 January 2030. [1]

On 3 November 2023, it was announced that the following nations sent in an official expression of interest: [3]

On 11 June 2024, the official bids were announced. [4]

On 20 September 2024, both bids were approved by the EHF. [12] However shortly before the host announcement, Croatia withdrew. [13] Czech Republic, Denmark and Poland won unopposed on 14 December 2024. [1] [14] [15] [16]

The 2012 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the tenth edition of the men's continental handball tournament, which was held in Serbia between 15 and 29 January 2012. Sixteen teams qualified for the event, including host nation Serbia, defending champion France and fourteen national teams through the qualifying tournament. The teams were split into four groups of 4, with the top 3 teams of each group advancing to the main round, carrying the points won against other qualified opponents. The 2022 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Slovenia, North Macedonia and Montenegro from 4 to 20 November 2022. The tournament was advanced a month in order not to coincide with the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. This tournament was the last to feature 16 teams that had been the case since 2002.

The 2024 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland from 28 November to 15 December 2024. This was the first tournament to feature 24 teams. Norway were the two time defending champions and defended their title once again with a win over Denmark.
