The 2032 EHF European Men's Handball Championship, commonly referred to as the EHF EURO 2032, will be the 20th edition of the EHF European Men's Handball Championship, the biennial international men's handball championship of Europe organized by EHF. The tournament will be held in France and Germany from 15 January to 1 February 2032. [1]

Bids

On 3 November 2023, it was announced that the following nations sent in an official expression of interest: [3]

On 11 June 2024, the official bids were announced. [4]

On 20 September 2024, the Croatian and joint French–German bids were approved, while Turkey's bid failed to meet requirements and was eliminated by the EHF. [9] However shortly before the host announcement, Croatia withdrew. [10] France and Germany won unopposed on 14 December 2024. [1] [11] [12]

Venues

Six venues will host the tournament, four in Germany and two in France. Both countries will host a main round group and the final weekend will be in Germany. [1]

The 2018 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the 14th edition of the tournament, hosted for the second time in Croatia from 12 to 28 January 2018. Croatia was awarded hosting the tournament during the EHF congress in Dublin on 20 September 2014. This was the last edition to feature 16 teams, with the 2020 edition expanding to 24 teams and six preliminary groups format.

The 2024 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the 16th edition of the tournament and the third to feature 24 national teams. It was hosted in Germany from 10 to 28 January 2024.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022 European Women's Handball Championship</span> International handball competition

The 2022 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Slovenia, North Macedonia and Montenegro from 4 to 20 November 2022. The tournament was advanced a month in order not to coincide with the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. This tournament was the last to feature 16 teams that had been the case since 2002.

The 2024 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland from 28 November to 15 December 2024. This was the first tournament to feature 24 teams. Norway were the two time defending champions and defended their title once again with a win over Denmark.

The 2026 EHF European Women's Handball Championship, commonly referred to as the EHF EURO 2026, will be the 17th edition of the EHF European Women's Handball Championship. It will be held from 3 to 20 December 2026.

The 2029 IHF World Men's Handball Championship, will be the 31st event hosted by the International Handball Federation. It will take place in France and Germany in January 2029.

The 2026 European Men's Handball Championship bidding process entails the bids for the 2026 European Men's Handball Championship. The winners were Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The winners were originally Russia but it was taken away from them due to their invasion of Ukraine. The eventual winners were Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey.
