Modern Talking was a German duo consisting of singer Thomas Anders and arranger, songwriter and producer Dieter Bohlen, with the participation of Luis Rodríguez in the production. They have been referred to as Germany's most successful pop duo, and have had a number of hit singles, reaching the top five in many countries. Some of their most popular and widely known singles are "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", "You Can Win If You Want", "Cheri, Cheri Lady", "Brother Louie", "Atlantis Is Calling " and "Geronimo's Cadillac".
Blue System was a German pop group that was founded by Dieter Bohlen in 1986 after the break-up of Modern Talking.
Walking on a Rainbow is the debut album by group Blue System, released on 2 November 1987 by Hansa Records. Its only single is "Sorry Little Sarah", which peaked at no. 11 on the German charts.
Bitterblue is the eighth studio album by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler. It was released on 11 November 1991, through Hansa Records. Bitterblue is a pop rock album, described by Dieter Bohlen as "more commercial" than her previous albums. Bohlen began working with Tyler in early 1991, writing and producing multiple songs for the album. Bitterblue also features compositions from Albert Hammond, Nik Kershaw and Giorgio Moroder.
"Brother Louie" is Modern Talking's first single from their third album, Ready for Romance. It was their fourth consecutive single to top the German Singles Chart, after "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", "You Can Win If You Want" and "Cheri, Cheri Lady".
Geronimo's Cadillac is Modern Talking's first single released from the fourth album In the Middle of Nowhere. This single is also the first one not to reach the top of the German singles chart. "Geronimo's Cadillac" was released in Germany and in other European territories on 6 October 1986. The single peaked at No. 3 on the German single chart on 3 November 1986, almost a month after its release. The single spent five weeks within the top-10 and total of 13 weeks on the top-100 in Germany. While "Geronimo's Cadillac" also entered the top-5 in Austria, it managed to enter the top-10 in Switzerland, Sweden and Norway.
