21st Century Girls were a teenage all-female band founded in 1996 in Dudley, West Midlands, UK. Previously called She Devil, the band originally consisted of singer Leanne Garner, her sister Fiona Garner on bass, guitarists Kate Turley and Meriam "Mim" Mohammad, and drummer Charlotte Fendek. Fendek later left the band, and Mohammad moved onto drums.[ citation needed ] In 1999, the band (then aged 14–16 years) were the first signing to Simon Fuller's 19 Recordings. [1] After a big publicity campaign the band released their debut single, "21st Century Girls", in June 1999. [2] [3] The single reached number 16 on the UK Singles Chart. [4]

The band disbanded after they were dropped by their record company in 2000. [5]

Kate Turley went on to form the band The Fight.

Home Is Where the Hate Is is the first EP by UK punk rock band The Fight. It was released in 2003.

The Fight was an English pop punk band, founded in 2000 in Dudley, West Midlands, England. The band consisted of singer and guitarist Kate Turley, drummer Jack Turley, Scott Milner also on guitar and bassist Tom Calder. In 2002, New Found Glory's road crew overheard them busking outside a gig in Leicester. When New Found Glory’s guitarist, Chad Gilbert, heard their record he invited them to open for them in London and took their demo back to his label. They were signed by Fat Wreck Chords who put out their first EP, Home Is Where the Hate Is, in 2003. Their first album Nothing New Since Rock 'n' Roll was released in 2004 on Repossession Records. The Fight have toured the UK, Japan and the United States with bands such as Rancid, Yellowcard, Sugarcult, Brand New and the Starting Line and played on the Warped Tour in summer 2005. After performing with the Fight, Kate Turley and Tom Calder formed the production duo TC4.

Weston is a punk rock band hailing from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1990, they took their name from singer Dave Weston's family, since his parents allowed them to practice in their basement. The band never found mainstream success but their energetic and irreverent live shows earned them legendary status amongst their peers as well as their fans. Following their major label debut, the band split up. It was announced on October 17, 2006, that Weston would be reuniting for three shows in late December.
