25th Anniversary Ultimate Best -The One- is a two-disc compilation album released by Luna Sea on May 28, 2014. All tracks were remastered from their original versions. Tracks 1.2, 2.6 and 2.8 are from their 2011 self-cover album, and track 1.14 is the re-recording from 2000's Period -the Best Selection- compilation. The release was also bundled with Never Sold Out 2 as a "2 in 1 Box" set. [1]

Luna Sea Japanese rock band

Luna Sea is a Japanese rock band formed in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1989. Due to the use of make-up and costumes early in their career and their widespread popularity, they are considered one of the most successful and influential bands in the visual kei movement. Throughout the mid-1990s they used significantly less make-up, and after a one-year break in 1998, came back with a more mainstream alternative rock style and toned down their on-stage attire. When they disbanded in 2000, they left a big mark on the Japanese rock scene. In 2003, HMV Japan ranked Luna Sea at number 90 on their list of the 100 most important Japanese pop acts.

<i>Luna Sea</i> (Luna Sea album) album

Luna Sea is the self-titled debut album by Japanese rock band Luna Sea, released on April 21, 1991 by Extasy Records. It sold over 30,000 copies by July 1992. The album was remastered and re-released by Universal Music Group on December 19, 2007. In 2011, after reuniting the previous year, Luna Sea re-recorded the whole album and released it on March 16, 2011 by their label at the time, HPQ.

Period -the Best Selection- is a compilation album released by Luna Sea on December 23, 2000, prior to their "Final Act" concerts. All tracks were remastered from their original versions, and tracks 11-13 & 15 were re-recorded just for this release. The album reached number one on the Oricon chart. It sold 1 million copies by March 2001.

A Best is the first greatest hits album by Japanese singer-songwriter Ayumi Hamasaki. It was released on March 28, 2001 by Avex Trax and Avex Music Creative Inc.. Hamasaki had originally planned to release a greatest hits album after her 2002 studio album I Am..., but the idea was denied by Avex head staff. Instead, Avex released the album in 2001, which caused conflict between the label and Hamasaki. The compilation was released in two different formats including a physical and a digital release. Kiyonobu Inoue, better known exclusively by his stage name Inoran, is a Japanese musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known as the rhythm guitarist and co-founder of the rock band Luna Sea. He started his solo career in 1997. Luna Sea disbanded in 2000, and he formed Fake? with Oblivion Dust vocalist Ken Lloyd a year later. In 2005 he left Fake? and founded Tourbillon with Luna Sea vocalist Ryuichi Kawamura and Hiroaki Hayama.
