2 October is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed and produced by Sunil Tiwari. The film stars Ashutosh Rana as a fearless police officer tasked with eliminating a notorious underworld criminal. Released on 5 September 2003 under the banner of Sarthak Movies, the film explores themes of justice and political corruption. [2] [3] Plot Karan Abhyankar (Ashutosh Rana) is a dedicated and courageous police officer in the encounter cell. When the police commissioner learns that Interpol-wanted criminal Bhau (Sharat Saxena) is hiding in Mumbai, he informs the Chief Minister (Shivaji Satam). The Chief Minister orders Karan to eliminate Bhau in a covert operation. However, just before the operation, the Chief Minister halts it because Bhau's associate, Kaka (Mukesh Tiwari), has kidnapped the Chief Minister's daughter. Karan faces numerous obstacles from influential people as he strives to bring Bhau to justice on 2 October, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, symbolizing the fight against corruption and crime. Plot

Karan Abhyankar (Ashutosh Rana) is a courageous encounter specialist in the Mumbai police. When intelligence reports reveal that underworld criminal Bhau (Sharat Saxena) is hiding in the city, the police commissioner alerts the Chief Minister (Shivaji Satam). Karan is assigned to eliminate Bhau in a secret mission. However, political pressure and a personal crisis, Bhau’s ally Kaka (Mukesh Tiwari) kidnaps the Chief Minister’s daughter, delay the mission. Despite interference from powerful figures, Karan vows to complete his mission on 2 October, the symbolic date tied to Mahatma Gandhi.
