35 Years Of Teenage Depression is a 2011 studio album by Eddie and the Hot Rods recorded to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the classic album. A re-working of selected tracks and three new songs by the current line-up featuring Barrie Masters. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Eddie and the Hot Rods are a pub rock band from Essex founded in 1975. They are best known for their 1977 UK top ten hit "Do Anything You Wanna Do", released under the name The Rods. The group broke up in 1981, but have reformed several times since, with singer Barrie Masters the only constant member.

Paul Gray is the bassist for the Southend-on-Sea rock band Eddie and the Hot Rods, which had several hit singles and albums in the late 1970s, including "Do Anything You Wanna Do". In early 1980, he joined the punk rock band The Damned to replace Algy Ward on bass. Gray contributed to two studio albums, The Black Album and Strawberries, but left the band in February 1983. After a brief stint with Swedish metallers Heavy Load in 1986, he joined UFO and remained until their split in 1987. He has also sessioned live and on records for artists including Johnny Thunders, Rob Tyner (MC5) and Andrew Ridgeley.

"Shake" is a song written and recorded by Sam Cooke. It was recorded at the last recording session Cooke had before his death on December 11, 1964. In the U.S., the song became a posthumous Top 10 hit for Cooke, peaking at number seven in February 1965.

Thriller is the third studio album by pub rock band Eddie and the Hot Rods and it reached #50 on the UK Singles Chart. Released in 1979, it is produced by Peter Ker. The album builds on the sound they have established in the previous studio album Life on the Line. Shortly after the release of Thriller, the band was sacked by their record company and forced to join EMI Records. The album was reissued in 2002 with two bonus tracks: "Horror Through Straightness" and "Highlands 1 Hopefuls 2". These songs had been the B-sides to the singles released on the album.

Lew Lewis is a "Little Walter-influenced" harmonica player and vocalist who was a member of Eddie and the Hot Rods before forming his own bands, and guesting on albums by The Stranglers, The Clash and others.

Fish 'n' Chips is the fourth studio album released by Pub Rock band Eddie and the Hot Rods. It is produced and mixed by Al Kooper, engineered by Bob Edwards and assistant Stuart Henderson and mastered by Mike Reese. The album was the first album for EMI Records who they signed to in 1979. According to Barrie Masters, the record company "just let it slip out" and it wasn't very successful, subsequently resulting in the dissolution of The Hot Rods in late 1981. The band reformed for a year from 1984 to 1985 but it wouldn't be until 1992 that they completed another studio album. The album also sees the departure of Paul Gray with him being replaced by T.C..

Gasoline Days is the fifth studio album released by Pub Rock band Eddie and the Hot Rods. It is produced and mixed by the Hot Rods themselves and Simon Milton. In 1992 the 'classic' line-up re-grouped for a European tour. Higgs left after the tour, but the band carried on with Steve Walwyn of Dr. Feelgood replacing him. Another Feelgood member, Gordon Russell, was also briefly a member, however, was soon replaced by Mick Rodgers, a former member of Manfred Mann's Earth Band. In 1994 they recorded the album Gasoline Days, released in 1996 by the Japanese label Creative Man. The band has been active intermittently since as the album didn't enjoy much success coupled with relatively poor reviews with one claiming "From teenage depression to mid-life crisis".

It was released on March 23, 2012 by Capitol Records, nearly two years after the original album. Perry collaborated with producers including Tricky Stewart to refine leftover material from the recording sessions at Playback Recording Studio for Teenage Dream. The final product features three newly recorded songs, which incorporate pop styles previously seen in the original album, an acoustic version of "The One That Got Away" and three additional official remixes.

"Show Me" is a title track of the 1967 album by Joe Tex, who also wrote the song. The single was Joe Tex's fourteenth release to make the US R&B chart. "Show Me" went to #24 on the R&B chart and #35 on the Hot 100.
