37 is the fifth studio album by King Never consisting of 5 alternative and progressive rock tracks. Released on April 24, 2013, the album was remixed and remastered in 2016 [1]
Originally recorded and released in the spring of 2013. In order to have physical product to serve their building live audience, the band felt the album was rushed and too reductionist. After the untimely death of bassist Karl Lane the album was remixed and remastered in 2016. The new mixes feature additional keyboard and guitar parts that weren't included on the original release, but were recorded during the original sessions. [2] Shortly after the release of 37, drummer Gontjes exited the band to pursue other projects.
In July 2014, an official lyric music video for the track Mr. No was released on the band's official YouTube channel. [3]
In a review of 37 for Prognaut.com, Joseph Shingler "Recommended for fans of 80s' alternative rock." and noted: "The music is influenced by bands like Police, The Fixx, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, and 'Radiohead; and even some of the later period albums from the band Spirit can be detected in tracks like “Push And Pull” and “Mr. No”. For the most part the accessible compositions are sedate melancholy ballads; a bit on the short side, but with an infectious hook. Solid songwriting." [4]

I’ve been a fan of Matt McCabe's playing and songwriting an embarrassingly long amount of time, but for good reason. This set finds him making yet another forward push against the boundaries." [5]

Galahad are an English progressive rock band formed in 1985. They have released 10 studio albums, 6 live albums and 3 rarities collections as well as a couple of offshoot project albums in the guise of the Galahad Acoustic Quintet and the Galahad Electric Company. Over the last 35 years they have played with the likes of Pendragon, IQ and Twelfth Night. Galahad have performed their own shows and at festivals in Europe and North America, and have sold tens of thousands of albums despite never having had a major record deal. All releases are on their own 'Avalon Records' imprint other than some re-issues which are released in association with Polish label 'Oskar Productions'. In 2012 and after 27 years of existence Galahad released their first ever vinyl LP 'Battle Scars' in conjunction with Ritual Echo Records, on high quality 180 gram vinyl, in a gatefold sleeve, as a limited edition pressing of 300 which is already fast becoming a collectors item. Since then the band has released several more albums on vinyl i.e. 'Beyond the Realms of Euphoria', 'Empires never Last', 'Seas of Change' and most recently in 2020 'Sleepers' on a double gatefold LP.
