(Bam, Lonnie, and Kapin) Productions (with additional remixes produced by K-Def and B.L.A.K. Productions) Co/Produced by StarrStrukk, "5 O'Clock" was released in early 1996 and eventually reached number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 8 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, spending 20 weeks on each chart, while also topping the Hot Rap Singles at number one. The single also earned a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for sales of 500,000 copies. Despite the success of "5 O'clock", neither her album Until the Day nor the follow-up single also titled "Until the Day" were able to achieve much success and to date she has yet to release another album. John David Jackson, better known by his stage name Fabolous, is an American rapper. Raised in Brooklyn, he first gained recognition for his ability upon performing live on DJ Clue's Hot 97 radio show. Jackson then signed to Clue's record label Desert Storm Records, in a joint venture with Elektra Records. He rose to further prominence with his debut studio album Ghetto Fabolous (2001), which spawned the hit singles "Can't Deny It" and "Young'n ." Adopting a further commercially-oriented approach, his second album, Street Dreams (2003), was supported by the singles "Can't Let You Go" and "Into You" —both of which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.
Jermaine Dupri Mauldin is an American record producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, and record executive. Raised in Atlanta as the son of Columbia Records executive Michael Mauldin, he began his career in music production at the age of nine. He discovered the teen hip hop duo Kris Kross in 1991. Dupri wrote and produced their 1992 single "Jump," which peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 and was named the 23rd most successful song of that decade. He established his own record label, So So Def Recordings in a joint venture with Columbia the following year.

Delroy "Junior" Reid is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall deejay. "Happenin' All Over Again" is a song written and produced by Stock Aitken & Waterman (SAW) for American singer Lonnie Gordon's first album, If I Have to Stand Alone (1990). The song mixed SAW's Europop sound with the blooming Italo house music which was becoming big in the UK charts at the time. It was released as the album's second single on January 15, 1990, and reached number four on the UK Singles Chart, but this 1990 version was never released in the US. A different version of the song was included on Gordon's 1993 album Bad Mood, and this version was released as a US single in 1993, peaking at number 98 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number one on the Billboard Dance chart. He was a member of a songwriting–production team composed of himself, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and Terius "The-Dream" Nash. In 2011, Kuk Harrell and partner Tricky Stewart joined the ranks of Fox's American Idol along with music mogul Jimmy Iovine, producing many of the songs performed on television by the contestants and released via iTunes. 2011 marked the highly anticipated return of Jennifer Lopez and her album LOVE? in which Kuk served as Album Vocal Producer. A composer and engineer on Beyoncé's chart topping "Single Ladies " from the album I Am... Hole Studios and Horizon Studios in Capitol Heights, Maryland, at Cue Recording Studios in Falls Church, Virginia and at Talamasca Sound in Glen Cove, New York. Production was handled by Alonzo "Lonnie" Simmons Jr., Dewayne "Bam" Staten Sr., Kapin, Chucky Thompson and Mark Murray, with Nicole Bernard serving as executive producer. The album peaked at number 94 on the Billboard 200 and number 20 on the Top R&B Albums, spending six weeks on the former and 10 weeks on the latter.
