The Sixth ARMM Regional Legislative Assembly was a meeting of the unicameral regional legislature of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). [1]

Contents

The meeting was headed by Rejie Sahali-Generale who was speaker until July 5, 2010, when she became Acting Vice Governor of the ARMM. From that date Ronnie Sinsuat served as speaker of the assembly. [2]

ARMM Regional Legislative Assembly

ARMM Regional Assembly, also known as ARMM Regional Legislative Assembly, was the devolved unicameral regional legislature of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). It was known as the "Little Congress" of the ARMM.

The Fifth ARMM Regional Legislative Assembly was a meeting of the unicameral regional legislature of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. The convening of the 5th Regional Legislative Assembly follows the 2005 ARMM elections, which replaced the entire membership of the Regional Legislative Assembly.

<i>Sema v. COMELEC and Dilangalen</i> Philippine legal case

Sema v. COMELEC and Dilangalen is a court case that was ruled on by the Supreme Court of the Philippines on 16 July 2008. It was consolidated with Marquez v. COMELEC. It held that the Regional Assembly of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao does not have the power to create provinces and cities. Thus, the creation of the province of Shariff Kabunsuan was unconstitutional ab initio and that province no longer exists as a political entity in the Philippines. All its employees and officials, elected or otherwise, were declared as not holding validly created offices.

Bangsamoro Parliament

The Bangsamoro Parliament is the legislature of Bangsamoro, an autonomous region of the Philippines. It is currently led by the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, an interim regional governing body. The inaugural session of the parliament took place on March 29, 2019 while its first regular session is projected to take place in 2022.

Governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao

The Governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao was the executive head of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) in the Philippines. The position was also simply referred to as the Regional Governor as a distinction to provincial governors.

2016 Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao general election

The 2016 general election in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) was held on May 9, 2016. This was the second ARMM election that was synchronized with the general elections in the Philippines.

The Ninth ARMM Regional Legislative Assembly was the last meeting of the unicameral regional legislature of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). Due to the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law creating the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region which replaced the ARMM, the election of legislators for a tenth meeting of the assembly was cancelled.

The Eight ARMM Regional Legislative Assembly was a meeting of the unicameral regional legislature of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
