The 6th Critics' Choice Real TV Awards , presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association and NPACT, which recognizes excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms, were held on June 15, 2024, at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The nominations were announced on May 15, 2023, with RuPaul's Drag Race and The Traitors leading with five. [1] The Traitors also won the most awards, with four wins. [2]

Selena + Chef is an American television cooking show hosted by Selena Gomez that premiered on HBO Max on August 13, 2020. The first season consists of 10 episodes. In August 2020, the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on November 19, 2020, and continues into early 2021. In April 2021, the series was renewed for a third season which was released on October 28, 2021. In November 2021, the series was renewed for a fourth season which premiered on August 18, 2022. On October 2, 2023, it was announced that Gomez would return for a series of holiday specials entitled Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays that premiered on November 30, 2023 on Food Network. The series follows Canadian actor Eugene Levy, who travels to remarkable hotels around the world and explores the places and cultures surrounding them. Season 1 premiered on 24 February 2023, and season 2 premiered on 8 March 2024. On 24 June 2024, Apple TV+ renewed the series for a third season.

The 5th Critics' Choice Real TV Awards, presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association and NPACT, which recognizes excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms, were held on June 15, 2023. The ceremony was not held in-person due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, instead a television special saluting the winners was aired the day after on KTLA.
