The 71st Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards were held on September 11, 2013 after six years, at The Science City Auditorium, Kolkata. [1] honoring the best Indian cinema in 2012. [2]

Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards commonly referred as BFJA Awards, is given by The Bengal Film Journalists' Association. The BFJA is the oldest association of film critics in India, founded in 1937 to serve the developing film journalism and film industry.

The 28th Annual Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards were held on 1965, honoring the best in Indian cinema in 1964.

Bhobishyoter Bhoot is a Bengali satirical comedy film directed by Anik Dutta. This movie was released on 15 February 2019. However, this is not a sequel to director's earlier blockbuster hit Bhooter Bhabishyat. All single and mutiple screen theaters were stopped from showing the movie immediately after release sighting "orders from upper management".
