98s is a British hip-hop collective based in Hackney, London. The group is named after the two postcodes, E9 (Homerton) and E8 (Hackney), where the members are from. [1] Their members include V9, Unknown T, Kay-O (formerly KO), HitMan, DA, Jimmy, Stally, Alchubbino, Billy Billions, and Mazza. They released their debut album, Class of 98s, on 24 September 2020. History

98s is a collective of friends from Homerton and Holly Street in Hackney, London. On 4 November 2019, the group appeared on Tim Westwood's Crib Session for a cipher on his show. [3] [4]

Individual members such as V9, Unknown T, and KO (now known as Kay-O) had success as solo artists before the collective formed in 2020, with the mixtapes Yūdokuna, Rise Above Hate, and Drilliam Shakespeare. [5] On 6 August 2020, the 98s made their debut as a group with the single "Homerton2Holly". [6] Their second and third singles, "Taco" and "Pay Attention," were released on 27 August and 10 September. [7] [8] On 24 September 2020, they released their debut album, Class of 98s. [9] On 12 February 2021, they released the single "WeDa1s". [10]

On 13 December 2023 Kay-O (real name Kammar Henry-Richards), HitMan (real name Jeffrey Gyimah), Ka'mani Brightly-Donaldson and Joao Pateco-Te were found guilty of murder. The killing happened on 13 August 2022 in Walthamstow. [11] [12]

Double Tap Diaries is the debut commercial mixtape by British rapper Digga D. It was released on 17 May 2019. It features guest appearances from Sav'o, Aystar, and KO. The mixtape peaked at number 11 on the UK Albums Chart, making it the highest charting drill album in the UK. Days after the mixtape release, he confirmed he was still in jail.

CGM, is a British UK drill collective based in Ladbroke Grove, London specifically the Portobello Estate. They were formerly known as 1011, named after the W10 and W11 postal codes. They are considered to be one of the pioneers of the UK drill scene.

Andre Deer, known professionally as Double Lz, is a British rapper and songwriter. He is a former member of the UK drill group OFB. Strength to Strength is a collaborative mixtape between British rappers Headie One and K-Trap. It was released on September 22, 2023, through Headie One's record label One Records and K-Trap's record label Thousand8. The mixtape features two guest appearances from Clavish and M1OnTheBeat. The production was handled by Carns Hill, M1OnTheBeat, Tyrell 169, and several other well-respected producers.

Derek Pinto, known professionally as Chinx (OS) is a British rapper from Camden Town, London. He is a member of the UK drill collective group known as OS, also known as 1Side, who are based in the Regent's Park Estate within Camden Town. He first released his debut mixtape, One Sided Story, in 2022.

<i>Blood Diamond</i> (album) 2024 studio album by Unknown T

Blood Diamond is the debut full-length studio album by British UK drill rapper Unknown T, released through A Stay Solid Music and Island Records on 12 January 2024. The album is a follow-up to his debut EP, Before the Smoke released in August 2023. The album features guest appearances from 98s, Digga D, Knucks, Loyle Carner, Odumodublvck, Scribz Riley and Tiana Major9, and includes production from AyeTM, Beat Butcha, Chucks, Jae5, Sean Murdz, alongside several other producers.
