A' is a Japanese-language pop album by Osaka-based band Afrirampo, released in 2004 of Acid Mothers Temple's label, containing previously self-released tracks and alternate versions of tracks which originally appeared on the bands A release. [1] The tracks were produced by Kawabata Makoto and digitally remastered by Yoshida Tatsuya of Ruins. [2]

Contents

The album was released as an Enhanced CD containing a video of live performance clips and a band photo, and was limited to 1000 copies. [2]

Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso U.F.O., commonly shortened to Acid Mothers Temple or AMT, is a Japanese psychedelic rock band, the core of which formed in 1995. The band is led by guitarist Kawabata Makoto and early in their career featured many musicians and offshoot groups and collaborations, but by 2004 the line-up had coalesced with only a few core members and frequent guest vocalists.

Afrirampo is a band from Osaka, Japan. The band was active from 2002 to 2010 and announced a reform in 2016. The members are Oni and Pikachu. Afrirampo has toured with Sonic Youth and Lightning Bolt, played with Yoko Ono collaborated with Acid Mothers Temple and released several CDs on various labels.

This marks the second time Acid Mothers Temple have covered Master Builder, again retitled as OM Riff, having previously covered it on IAO Chant From The Cosmic Inferno.

Mainliner are a noise rock band from Tokyo, Japan. The band was formed in 1995 by guitarist Kawabata Makoto and bassist Asahito Nanjo with the intention of creating a new form of psychedelic music. They released four studio albums before the members went on hiatus to pursue other musical interests. On December 20, 2011 Kawabata Makoto, Koji Shimura and newcomer Kawabe Taigen began recording material. The music from these sessions was released on May 13, 2013 on the new album Revelation Space. The band intended to take part in a world tour in support of the new album, starting with the UK that September.
