ATV Madiun is a local television station, established in 2003 in Madiun, East Java.
Madiun is a landlocked city in the western part of East Java, Indonesia, known for its agricultural center. It was formerly the capital of the Madiun Regency, but is now administratively separated from the regency. Madiun is commonly known as "Kota Gadis", which is an acronym for "Trading, Education and Industrial City" in Indonesian.
The Madiun Affair, known locally as the Communist Party of Indonesia rebellion of 1948, was an armed conflict between the government of the self-proclaimed Republic of Indonesia and the left-wing opposition group Front Demokrasi Rakyat during the Indonesian National Revolution.
