AVA Recordings is an electronic dance music record label founded in early 2006 by UK producer & DJ Andy Moor. [1] In 2014, Vancouver based producer & DJ Somna (Benjamin Leung) joined the label as Moor's partner and co-owner. AVA Recordings was a sub label of Armada Music from December 2008 until 2014, [2] [3] at which point the label joined Black Hole Recordings. [4]

Andy Moor has a prolific career in music production under his own name, through various aliases (Dub Disorder, Dwight van Man, Sworn) and as part of production partnerships like Tilt, Whiteroom, Leama & Moor and Zoo DJ's. He has received numerous recognitions for his work including a Grammy nomination in December 2007 for his remix of Delerium's Angelicus. Moor is best known for production techniques like vocal chops and syncopated basslines.

Somna's music can be found on some of the top record labels in the genre including Armada Music, Go On Air Recordings, Black Hole Recordings, Future Sound of Egypt, Perfecto and of course, AVA Recordings.
As well as creating his own music, Somna handles AVA Recordings' operations and business planning as label manager, co-owner and A&R.
The early years of AVA Recordings saw releases from some of today's most recognizable names in trance music including Orkidea, Sean Tyas, Lange, Ben Nicky, Sunny Lax and RAM.
Notable artists Ashley Wallbridge, TyDi, Mat Zo, Omnia and Tritonal are just a few artists whose early musical careers began at AVA Recordings.
In recent years AVA Recordings has undergone significant growth and expansion.
Markus Schulz is a German DJ and record producer based in Miami, Florida. Best known for his weekly radio show titled Global DJ Broadcast that airs on Digitally Imported radio, ah.fm and other online stations, Schulz is also the founder of the label Coldharbour Recordings and Schulz Music Group (SMG), an artist management company that manages rising stars in the industry. In September 2012, Schulz was crowned America's number one DJ by DJ Times.

Perfecto Records is a British trance record label, founded by Paul Oakenfold in 1989. Perfecto was also a remix team consisting of Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne and in its later years, Osborne was replaced by Andy Gray. Perfecto Records have provided remixes for U2, Moby, New Order, Rolling Stones, Simply Red and more.
Black Hole Recordings is a Dutch record label founded by Tijs Verwest (Tiësto) and Arny Bink in 1997. In August 2009, Tiësto decided to leave Black Hole Recordings, setting up the record label Musical Freedom in association with PIAS Entertainment Group.

John O'Callaghan is an Irish musician and DJ, mainly producing trance music. He also produces music under the aliases of Joint Operations Centre, Mannix, Henrik Zuberstein, and Stenna. He has also collaborated with fellow Discover artists such as Bryan Kearney, Neal Scarborough, Thomas Bronzwaer, and Greg Downey as well as, more recently, trance hero Leon Bolier. His best-known tracks are "Exactly" with Bryan Kearney, "Big Sky", in collaboration with vocalist Audrey Gallagher, and "Find Yourself". Callaghan has received remixes by trance artists such as The Thrillseekers, Sean Tyas, Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate, Markus Schulz and Indecent Noise. He has also worked with Heatbeat and Aly & Fila.
TyDi is an Australian songwriter, record producer and DJ specializing in electronic dance music. Originally from Queensland, TyDi was signed by Armin van Buuren's Armada label at 17 and was ranked at No. 1 of Junkee's Australian Top 50 DJs in 2008 and 2009.
Andrej Komatovič, widely known as Andy Blueman[ˈɛːndi ˈbluːmɛn], is a Slovenian trance producer. His release Time to Rest was included in Armin van Buuren's trance compilation A State Of Trance 2008, and Everlasting was included in A State Of Trance Yearmix 2009. His work Florescence was also included in A State Of Trance Yearmix 2010. Five of his tracks were voted the track of the week on A State of Trance, and two of his other tracks won Trance Around the World's weekly web vote. Eleven of his tracks were voted amongst the greatest 1000 tracks in the history of trance music out of over 10,000 nominees in the first-ever (2010) Trance Top 1000 poll organized by Armada Music, even though he had only ever worked on 13 trance songs released by the time of the competition.
Tritonal is an American music duo from Austin, Texas consisting of producers and DJs Chad Cisneros and David Reed. They are also known for hosting the Tritonia radio show, broadcasting from Sirius XM BPM channel 51.

Betsie Larkin is an American vocalist, songwriter and guest writer/vocalist based in San Francisco, California, United States. Her first EDM collaborations with Ferry Corsten, "Made of Love" and "Feel You", appeared on Corsten's album Twice in a Blue Moon. Soon after its release, the single "Made of Love" made the top 40 in the Netherlands. In 2008 it was voted the fifth track overall on Armin Van Buuren's radio program A State of Trance, number one on Above and Beyond Group Therapy Radio, and reached the number one position on Corsten's Countdown's 100th episode. "Made of Love" was the second single and the first vocal track to be released from the Twice In A Blue Moon album. There is also an official video. Larkin joined Corsten as his tour kicked off in Malaysia and has joined him for numerous shows all over the globe.

Tempo Giusto is a Finnish trance music DJ, producer and composer. He is one of the leading names of Tech Trance and debuted in 2008 with the single "Agent Orange". Since then he has released music with many known electronic dance music labels such as Black Hole Recordings, Armada Music, Ultra Records and Spinnin Records. He also owns the Finland-based Echelon Records with his older brother Ima'gin. Their collaboration on "Gemini" resulted in #1 trance release on Beatport in June 2012. In 2019 Tempo Giusto's collaborative track "Mr. Navigator" with Armin van Buuren resulted in a #1 charting trance single on Beatport. In total Tempo Giusto holds 12 Beatport Top 10 trance singles. In 2019, Tempo Giusto was nominated 'Electronic Music Artist' of the year at the Emma-gaala.
