Aadil Khan (born Nasar Ulla Khan; 24 September 1985) is an Indian actor who mainly works in Hindi movies and web series. [1] [2] He is mostly known for his roles in Shikara (2020), Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story (2021) and Shoorveer (2022). [3] [4] [5]

Career

He started his career as a Radio jockey. He joined Red FM in Mumbai and hosted a popular show "Naughty Nights with RJ Nasar" on 93.5 Red FM. [6] [7] In 2017, he was offered a lead role in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Shikara, a Hindi romantic drama film based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990. [8] The movie featuring Sadia Khateeb in lead role alongside Aadil Khan was released in 2020. [9] The duo were praised by Rajkummar Rao for their performance in the film. [10] In 2021, he played the role of Maninder Singh in Neeraj Pandey's Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, which also featured Kay Kay Menon and Aftab Shivdasani. [11] [12] [13] In 2022, he played another lead role in Shoorveer, alongside Regina Cassandra and Manish Chaudhari. Biography

Aadil was born on 24 September 1985 in Bhopal. He was named Nasar Ulla Khan at the time of his birth but his screen name is Aadil Khan. He was asked to reinvent his image by Vidhu Vinod Chopra by deleting his social media profiles. [18]

The film was released in India on 19 December 2003, and is the first installment of the Munna Bhai film series before its sequel, Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006). Considered to be a cult film in the Hindi cinema and loosely inspired from the 1998 American film Patch Adams, the film stars Sunil Dutt in his final film role as the father to his real-life son, Sanjay Dutt, who stars as the titular character of Munna Bhai, a gangster in the Mumbai underworld. Gracy Singh portrays the female lead, being replaced by Vidya Balan in the sequel, and Arshad Warsi portrays the role of Munna's sidekick, Circuit, while Boman Irani, Rohini Hattangadi, Jimmy Sheirgill and Neha Dubey also appear in the film. Based in Mumbai, the film follows Munna trying to please his father by pretending to be a doctor, but when a doctor, Asthana (Irani), exposes Munna's lies and tarnishes his father's honour, Munna enrolls in an Indian medical college with the help of Circuit. Chaos ensue when Munna, on finding that Asthana is the dean of the college, vows revenge, while also sparking a romance with a house doctor, Suman (Singh), unaware that she is Asthana's daughter and his childhood friend, "Chinki".

Murder at Monkey Hill is 1976 Indian film written and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The short film in Black-and-white was made by Vidhu Vinod Chopra as his final project while doing his diploma at FTII. Vinod Chopra, himself, played the lead role with Anjali Paigankar while Dilip Dhawan and Mehmood made short appearances in the film. Vidhu's 1981 movie Sazaye Maut is based on this movie.

Sadia Khateeb is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. She made her acting debut with Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film Shikara (2020) for which she received Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut nomination. Khateeb has since starred in Raksha Bandhan (2022).
