Plot
The film begins with a family knitted with a fragrance of love and affection. Vijay Verma its paterfamilias lives along with his ideal wife Ganga, devoted younger brother Sharad and a daughter Guddy. Sharad loves his fellow collegian Poonam gets married and acquires a fine job but sadly, gets separated from his family. After a while, Ganga gives birth to the second child Suraj. Eventually, she learns that Poonam can never conceive, and benevolent Ganga bestows her child for adoption. Here, Vijay feels proud of Ganga. Time passes, Sharad earns well, and additionally, Vijay wins a huge amount in a lottery. Then, Ganga a shade of selfishness embarks in Ganga and she decides to retrieve her son. Despite the urges of Poonam. However, Sharad gives back the child and quits the place. Knowing it, Vijay screams, disowns Ganga, and leaves with his children. Thus, Ganga is unable to bear the guilt and struck herself. Meanwhile, Vijay reaches Sharad and apologizes by returning to Suraj. Immediately, Sharad & Poonam rushes to Ganga when they spot her in an unconscious state. After that, she pleads for pardon from everyone and they forgive her. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the reunion of the family.

Shahenshah (transl. Emperor) is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language vigilante action film starring Amitabh Bachchan in the title role, along with Meenakshi Sheshadri. The film was produced and directed by Tinnu Anand. The story of the film was written by Amitabh Bachchan's wife Jaya Bachchan and the screenplay was written by veteran screenwriter Inder Raj Anand, who died before the film was released.

Akayla (transl. Alone) is a 1991 Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Ramesh Sippy and produced by the Mushir - Riaz duo. It featured an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Amrita Singh, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Aditya Pancholi, Kiran Juneja, Keith Stevenson as the primary antagonist in a dual role, and Shashi Kapoor in a extended special appearance. It was the fourth and final collaboration between Bachchan and Ramesh Sippy after Sholay (1975), Shaan (1980) and Shakti (1982). It also marked the former's last onscreen collaboration with Sheshadri and Kapoor and his first one with Shroff, they would later work together in films like Eklavya (2007) and Sarkar 3 (2017). Also, it was the second time Singh and Sheshadri featured together, the first film being Toofan (1989) which also starred Bachchan in the lead role. It was loosely based on Dirty Harry (1971).
Jay Om Prakash was an Indian film producer and director. He directed films like Aap Ki Kasam (1974), Aakraman, Aashiq Hoon Baharon Ka, Aakhir Kyon? (1985) with Rajesh Khanna as the lead hero and his other successful directorial ventures included Apnapan (1977), Aasha (1980), Apna Bana Lo (1982), Arpan (1983), and Aadmi Khilona Hai (1993) with Jeetendra as the lead hero. He was presenter for the films Raja Rani and Aan Milo Sajna, both having Rajesh Khanna as the lead hero.
