Baaghi (Rebel) is a Pakistani television series premiered on Urdu 1 on July 27, 2017, and based on the life of the controversial Pakistani actress Qandeel Baloch who was murdered by her brother in the name of honor in July 2016. The screenplay of the drama has been done by Umera Ahmad. Saba Qamar plays the lead character of Fauzia/Qandeel in the series.
Mein Sitara is a 2016 Pakistani television series that aired on TV One. The series was written by Faiza Iftikhar, directed by Seema Tahir Khan, and produced by TV One Productions. It had an ensemble cast of Saba Qamar, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Meera, Hassan Ahmed, Anum Fayyaz, Noman Ijaz, Rashid Farooqui, and others. The serial marked the fourth on-screen collaboration of Saba Qamar and Mikaal Zulfiqar after Pani Jaisa Piyar (2011), Izteraab (2014), and Sangat (2015). Set in the mid-1960s, the drama serial follows the fortunes of characters from Lollywood's golden era and their tremulous journey till the turn of this century.
Umera Ahmed is a Pakistani writer, author and screenwriter. She is best known for her novels and plays Shehr-e-Zaat, Pir-e-Kamil, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Alif, Durr-e-Shehwar, Daam, Man-o-Salwa, Qaid-e-Tanhai, Digest Writer, Maat, Kankar, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Doraha and Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay. Umera Ahmed is one of the most widely read and popular Urdu fiction novelists and screenplay writers of this era.

Gharoor is a Pakistani drama television series broadcast on PTV Home in 2006. It features Saba Qamar, Ahsan Khan, Savera Nadeem, Jana Malik, Saba Hameed, Ashraf Khan and Shakil in the leading cast. The title track was composed by Shehzad and Timmy, and sung by Riaz Ali Khan and Hina Khan.
Saba Qamar is a Pakistani actress who works predominantly in Urdu films and television. Qamar started her career with PTV Home's classic television series Mein Aurat Hoon in 2004. She made her Lollywood debut with Sarmad Khoosat directorial film Manto in 2015 and Bollywood debut with Hindi Medium in 2017.
