Critical response

A critic from Cinema Express rated the film 2+12 out of 5 and wrote that "Overall, Abbara is definitely a watchable film for those who have been missing age-old masala flicks". [5] A critic from Bangalore Mirror wrote that "All in all, Abbara is worth a watch for sheer entertainment". [6] A critic from The South First wrote that "Abbara is made exclusively for a special kind of daredevils. Do share your experiences with us if you are up for the Abbara challenge". [7]
