Abbie Taylor

Abbie Taylor (born 3 September 1993) [1] is a professional BMX racer from Sheffield, United Kingdom. [2] Taylor was born in High Wycombe, [3] and came from a family with a background in BMX [2] and began riding aged six years old. [4] In 2011, she won the silver medal in the Junior World Championships. [5] She was a reserve for the Great Britain side at the 2012 Summer Olympics [6] having won a bronze medal in the Elite women’s final at the UCI Supercross in Abbotsford Canada. [7] In 2014, she was selected in the Great Britain side for the 2014 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup. [8]

The National Indoor BMX Arena is an indoor BMX racing facility, located in Sportcity, Manchester, United Kingdom. The arena was designed by Ellis Williams Architects and built by contractors Sir Robert McAlpine. It is situated next to the Manchester Velodrome and the buildings share a common entrance as part of the National Cycling Centre. The arena cost £24 million to construct, seats 2,000 spectators and was opened in 2011. It is home to British Cycling’s BMX programme, which has produced world champions Shanaze Reade and Liam Phillips and Olympic champions Bethany Shriever and Charlotte Worthington.

The UCI BMX Supercross World Cup 2011 is a multi race tournament over a season of BMX racing. The season runs from 8 April to 1 October 2011. The World Cup is organised by the Union Cycliste Internationale. In this edition the World Cup consists of four rounds in Pietermaritburg, Papendal, London and Chula Vista.

Caroline Buchanan is an Australian cyclist who has won multiple world championships in BMX and mountain biking. She represented Australia at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's BMX event.

Having started BMX racing at age fifteen, Horakova has claimed numerous Czech national titles, eight European championship titles, and more importantly, two bronze medals in the women's elite category at the UCI World Championships. Felicia Stancil is an American female BMX rider. Stancil has won 14 UCI World Titles including the 2012 UCI BMX World Championships titles for Junior Women and the Junior Women Time Trial in Birmingham, United Kingdom. A year later she successfully defended both titles at the 2013 UCI BMX World Championships in New Zealand. At the 2015 Pan American Games, Stancil won gold in her first international win as a professional. The win resulted in the first gold medal won by the United States at the 2015 games. After reaching the final in all ten races on the 2019 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup series, Stancil finished out the year 2nd in the overall standings. Adding on to her successful 2019, Stancil was awarded the 2019 Golden Crank Pro of the Year Title by Pull Magazine.

Anthony Dean is an Australian BMX cyclist. He qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics & The 2020 Tokyo Olympics and competed in the men's BMX Racing.

Bethany Kate Shriever is an elite British cyclist, competing as a BMX racer. A World Junior champion in 2017, and winner of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup final event in Zolder in 2018, in 2021 Shriever won both the Olympic and World titles, equalling the feat of Colombian legend Mariana Pajón, who won Olympic silver. In 2022 Shriever completed the full set of gold medals by winning the 2022 UEC BMX Racing European Championships; in doing so, she became the first BMX racing cyclist in history to hold all three titles simultaneously.
