Abby's Flower Tower (formerly Jazzy Jellies) is a flower themed spinning samba tower ride located in Sesame Street at SeaWorld Orlando in the United States. [1] Manufactured by Zamperla, the ride lifts and spins riders to heights of 30 feet in the air. Jazzy Jellies was opened to the public in 2006. [2] It closed in 2018 to retheme the ride to Abby’s Flower Tower as part of the changing from Shamu’s Happy Harbor to Sesame Street.

In 2006, SeaWorld Orlando announced plans to add three family rides in the Shamu's Happy Harbour area - Jazzy Jellies, a jellyfish-themed samba tower ride, the Shamu Express, a killer whale-themed junior roller coaster and Swishy Fishies, a teacup ride waterspout-themed teacup ride as well as four stories of nets and tunnels, a huge sand box, and a playful pirate ship.

The Jazzy Jellies ride was opened to the public at the end of the year in 2006. [2] It was manufactured by Zamperla, an Italy-based thrill rides and roller coasters manufacturing company.

In May 2017, it was announced that Shamu's Happy Harbor will be converted into the Sesame Street area. [3]

On April 8, 2018 the ride, alongside the Shamu Express roller coaster closed as part of the retheming of Shamu's Happy Harbor into the Sesame Street area. [4] The ride reopened as Abby's Flower Tower on March 27, 2019 along with the rest of the area.

Ride

Abby's Flower Tower is a balloon style ride that can lift up a tower and can spin through the visitor's controls. There are eight Flower pot themed tea cups for the riders which lifts and spins riders to heights of 30 feet in the air. [5] [6] The duration of the ride is about 1 minute. It is open for kids that are around 14 years old and older. The riders must be at least 42 inches tall or accompanied by a supervising companion at least 14 years old to ride.

These attractions, while different from one another, tell a similar story of a trip to the mythical land of Atlantis. Each one combines roller coaster elements, such as chain lift hills and steep drops, with boat-based attraction elements, such as splash-down landings. All three attractions were designed by Mack Rides of Germany.

Kraken (roller coaster) Steel roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando

Kraken is a steel roller coaster located at SeaWorld Orlando in the United States. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the ride opened as the second longest floorless coaster in the world on June 1, 2000, with a track length measuring 4,177 feet (1,273 m). It features a total of seven inversions and reaches a maximum speed of 65 mph (105 km/h). The coaster was named after a fictional sea monster of the same name. In late 2016, Kraken underwent a refurbishment and reopened as Kraken Unleashed in June 2017. A virtual reality experience was added to the ride, but due to technical difficulties and extensive wait times, the feature was permanently removed the following year.

Ragin Cajun (roller coaster)

Ragin' Cajun is a steel mouse roller coaster at Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Manufactured by Zamperla and Reverchon Industries, the design is a "Crazy Mouse", which is similar to a "Wild Mouse." Crazy Mouse coasters' cars freely spin during the second half of the ride, but Wild Mouse coasters' cars do not. The ride runs five cars at a time, and each car holds up to four riders with a maximum of three adults. Ragin' Cajun previously operated at Six Flags Great America from 2004 to 2013.

Castle Park, formerly Castle Amusement Park, is a 25-acre amusement park and family amusement center located in Riverside, California. The park utilizes a medieval "castle" theme and includes attractions such as a miniature golf course, arcade, and 22 amusement rides including two roller coasters such as Merlin's Revenge, a junior rollercoaster, and Screamin' Demon, a spinning Wild Mouse rollercoaster. The main "castle" themed building, houses the arcade as well as its only dark ride, "Ghost Blasters", an interactive attraction, designed by Sally Corporation, which can also be found at other amusement parks throughout North America. The park includes a variety of roller coasters and other amusement rides. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has been part of the Six Flags chain of amusement parks since 1999.

Flight of the Hippogriff Junior roller coaster at Universal parks

Flight of the Hippogriff is a junior roller coaster at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter section of the many Universal theme parks. It is present at Islands of Adventure in Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Japan, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Beijing. Designed by Universal Creative, the first installation opened at Islands of Adventure on June 18, 2010. The new ride was a redesign of an existing roller coaster known as Flying Unicorn, which the park closed in 2008 to begin its transformation. The design change was implemented to fit the new Harry Potter-themed area that was being constructed at the park. Sunny Day Carousel is a Sesame Street themed carousel ride located in Sesame Street Land at SeaWorld Orlando in the United States. Manufactured by Chance Rides, the ride featured a 45 foot wide pink octopus on the top. Riders board a colorful collection of sea creatures and float up and down as the carousel revolves to the sounds of the sea. Sea Carousel was opened to the public in 2007.

Super Grover's Box Car Derby is the name for three similar steel roller coasters at SeaWorld San Antonio and SeaWorld Orlando in the Sesame Street sections of each park, a kid-oriented section, with one newly-built model being located at Sesame Place San Diego. The trains were originally designed to resemble the mascot, Shamu.

Lost Island Theme Park Planned theme park in Waterloo, Iowa

Lost Island Theme Park is a planned theme park in Waterloo, Iowa. The 90-acre (36 ha) park will include five themed lands, which will feature numerous attractions; including three roller coasters. Lost Island Theme Park is owned by the Bertch family, who operate the Lost Island Waterpark, which is located next to the site of the theme park. Construction on Lost Island Theme Park began in August 2019, it is projected to be completed in 2022, and it will cost an estimated $100 million.

Tumbili Roller coaster at Kings Dominion

Tumbili, a Swahili word meaning "monkey", is a steel roller coaster at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, United States. Announced in August 2021, the 4D Free Spin model is manufactured by S&S – Sansei Technologies and opened on March 12, 2022. It is located within Jungle X-Pedition, a newly-themed section of the park formerly known as Safari Village.
