Abcho (typeset as Abcho, meaning Abstract Chop), is a Japanese pop unit made up of two members from Japanese pop groups Morning Musume, their subgroup which includes Older/Graduated Members, Dream Morning Musume, and J-Pop Metal Group Hangry & Angry: Hitomi Yoshizawa and Rika Ishikawa. They formed in middle of February 2012, and released their first single on May 23, 2012.

In February 2012, Hitomi Yoshizawa and Rika Ishikawa announced that would form a new unit called Abcho. [1] Abcho's first single was released on May 23, 2012. [2] This was used as the opening theme song for Sengoku Collection . [3]

Miki Shōji, professionally known by her birth name of Miki Fujimoto, and nicknamed Mikitty, is a Japanese actress and former pop singer. After failing the audition to join girl group Morning Musume with the fourth generation members, Fujimoto debuted as a solo artist within Hello! Project in 2002 with the single "Aenai Nagai Nichiyōbi". Fujimoto later joined Morning Musume in 2003 along with the sixth generation and eventually became the leader of the group in 2007.
Kei Yasuda is a Japanese singer, musician and actress under the Hello! Project. She was a member and co-leader of the Japanese girl group Morning Musume. Yasuda, along with Mari Yaguchi and Sayaka Ichii, were the second generation of singers to be recruited into Morning Musume. Morning Musume had only released one official single, Morning Coffee, prior to their joining. Yasuda was also a member of Japanese pop group Dream Morning Musume.
Rika Ishikawa, is a Japanese actress and model associated with Hello! Project and best known as a former member of the pop group Morning Musume. She was the leader of the Japanese pop idol trio v-u-den until June 2008. She has performed as a solo singer, as a member of the Japanese pop idol group Ongaku Gatas, in the pop duo Hangry & Angry as Angry, and as a current member of Dream Morning Musume.
Nozomi Sugiura, known professionally by her birth name Nozomi Tsuji is a Japanese media personality, singer, and blogger. In 2000, she began her career as a singer for Japanese girl band Morning Musume. Tsuji later found success with related groups Mini Moni and W. She has participated in the shuffle groups 10-nin Matsuri, Odoru 11, and 11Water, H.P. All Stars, as well as being a member of the Morning Musume splinter group Morning Musume Otomegumi
Ai Takahashi is a Japanese pop singer and actress who is formerly associated with the Hello! Project and is best known as the leader of Morning Musume and Hello! Project until 2011. She is also a former member of its popular subgroup Mini Moni.
Hitomi Yoshizawa is a Japanese former singer, actress, and model. Yoshizawa grew to fame as a member of the Japanese idol girl group Morning Musume. Following her graduation, she was part of the pop duo Hangry & Angry and a member of Japanese pop group Dream Morning Musume.
