Abdinuur Cilmi Qaaji, commonly known as Biindhe, was the president of Khatumo State in Northern Somalia in 2012. [1] [2] [3]
It was during Biindhe's reign as Khatumo president that the flag for Khatumo was designed. Rooda Xassan, the flag's designer, said the cavalryman on its design features an anonymous Darawiish; the cavalry during the Dervish era being referred to as Dooxato: [4]

Sool is an administrative region (gobol) in ssc-khaatumo North east of Somalia. It borders Togdheer to the west, Waqooyi galbeed to the west North, Sanaag to the north, Ethiopia to the south and Nugal, Bari to the east. Its capital city is Las Anod. The region is mainly controlled by ssc-khaatumo it's majorily settled by the Dhulbahante sub-clan of Harti Daarood.
Puntland, officially the Puntland State of Somalia, is a Federal Member State in northeastern Somalia. The capital city is the city of Garoowe in the Nugal region, and its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland had a population of 4,334,633 in 2016. Geographically to the west, Puntland lays claim to the intra-46th meridian territories that were outside European colonial rule during parts of the Scramble for Africa period.
The flag of Somalia, also known as the Somali flag, was adopted on October 12, 1954, and was designed by Mohammed Awale Liban. Harti, meaning "strong man", is a Somali clan family that is the part of the Darod clan. The major sub-clans include the Majeerteen, Warsangeli, Dishiishe, Dhulbahante and while other minor sub-clans consist of Kaskiqabe, Geesaguule and Liibaangashe.
Ali Khalif Galaydh was a Somali politician. He was the Prime Minister of the transitional Somalia administration from 8 October 2000 to 28 October 2001. Galaydh had extensive experience in public policy, diplomacy, public administration, and business. He taught these subjects at public universities in the United States. Additionally, Galaydh was the president of the Khaatumo state. In 2017, he signed an agreement with the Somaliland government which stipulated the amendment of Somaliland's constitution, this would’ve promoted peace and stability throughout the regions of Sool, sanaag and cayn.
