Abdoul Moumouni Amadou Darankoum (born 7 August 2002) is a Nigerien professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Sheriff Tiraspol.

Moumouni started his career with Nigerien club US GN in 2018. [3] On 16 September 2021, he signed for Moldovan National Division club Sheriff Tiraspol. [4]

International career

On 22 September 2019, he made his debut for the Niger national team in an African Nations Championship qualification match against the Ivory Coast. [2]

The 2021–22 season was FC Sheriff Tiraspol's 25th season, and their 24th in the Divizia Naţională, the top-flight of Moldovan football. Sheriff are defending Divizia Naţională champions and will also take part in the Moldovan Cup, as well as entering the UEFA Champions League in the first qualifying round.

The 2022–23 season was FC Sheriff Tiraspol's 26th season, and their 25th in the Divizia Naţională, the top-flight of Moldovan football. Sheriff are defended their Divizia Naţională title for the eighth season in a row, whilst also winning the Moldovan Cup to complete a domestic double. In European competition, Sheriff reached the Third Qualifying Round of the UEFA Champions League, dropping into the UEFA Europa League Group Stages where they finished third progressing into the UEFA Europa Conference League where they were knocked out by Nice at the Round of 16 stage.
