Al hajji Abdul Nadduli (born 22 December 1942) in Nakaseke district is a Ugandan politician. He is a former minister without portfolio in the Cabinet of Uganda. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016, a position he served in until 14 December 2019. [1]
Sam Kahamba Kutesa is a Ugandan politician, businessman and lawyer involved in several corruption cases. By the marriage of his daughter Charlotte Kutesa Muhoozi with Muhoozi he is part of the inner circle of president Museveni. Kutesa was the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Cabinet of Uganda, a position he held from 13 January 2005 and maintained through three cabinet reshuffles until May 2021. He was also the elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Mawogola County in Sembabule District. He was the President of the United Nations General Assembly during its 69th session in 2014–2015.
Daudi Migereko is a Ugandan politician who has served as the minister of lands, housing and urban development in the cabinet of Uganda. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. He replaced Omara Atubo, who was dropped from the cabinet. In the cabinet reshuffle of 2016, the president dropped him from this position and replaced him with Betty Amongi. From 16 February 2009 until 27 May 2011, he served as the government's chief whip in the parliament of Uganda. Before that, he was the minister of energy and mineral development in the cabinet. Migereko also represented Butembe County, Jinja District in the parliament from 2006 to 2016, a position he surrendered to Nelson Lufafa who won the seat in the 2016 General Elections.
Ephraim Kamuntu is a Ugandan management scientist and politician. He has been the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs in the Cabinet of Uganda since 14 December 2019. Previously, he served as Minister of Water and Environment from August 2012 to June 2016. He is also an ex-officio Member of the Parliament of Uganda because of his Cabinet position.
Jenipher Kacha Namuyangu, also Jennifer Namuyangu Byakatonda, but commonly referred to as Jennifer Namuyangu, is a Ugandan politician and environmentalist. She belongs to the National Resistance Movement political party. She is the current Minister of State for Bunyoro Affairs in the Prime Minister's Office and former Minister of State for Local Government in the Ugandan Cabinet. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. She previously served as the Minister of State for Water Resources, from 1 June 2006 until 27 May 2011. In the Cabinet reshuffle on 27 May 2011, she was dropped from the cabinet and was replaced by Betty Bigombe. She also served as the elected Member of Parliament for Pallisa District Women's Representative, from 2001 until 2011. In 2010, Pallisa District was split into two, to create Kibuku District. Namuyangu contested for the parliamentary seat of Kibuku County, Kibuku District. She was rigged by Saleh Kamba by a wide margin.
John Byabagambi is a Ugandan engineer and politician. He was the Cabinet Minister for Karamoja Affairs, in the Cabinet of Uganda. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016, and was replaced by Mary Goretti Kitutu on 8 June 2021. He previously served as Minister of Works and Transport between March 2015 and June 2016, replacing Abraham Byandala who was appointed Minister Without Portfolio. He is also the elected Member of Parliament, representing Ibanda County South, Ibanda District. He was first elected to that position in 2001.
General Haji Abubaker Jeje Odongo is a Ugandan senior military officer and politician. In June 2021, he was appointed Uganda's cabinet minister for Foreign Affairs.
Adolf Kasaija Mwesige is a Ugandan lawyer and politician who served as Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs in the Cabinet of Uganda from 6 June 2016 to 8 June 2021. He previously served as Minister of Local Government from 18 February 2009 to 6 June 2016. He has also been the elected Member of Parliament for Bunyangabu County, Kabarole District, since 1996. In July 2017, Bunyangabu County was peeled off Kabarole District to form Bunyangabu District.
Irene Nafuna Muloni is a Ugandan electrical engineer, businesswoman and politician and also a Senior Presidential Advisor to Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. She was previously Cabinet Minister for Energy and Minerals in the Ugandan Cabinet until December 2019, serving from 27 May 2011. She retained her position in the new cabinet after the 2016 national elections. She served as the elected Member of Parliament for Bulambuli District Women's Representative, from 2011 until 2016 when she lost her seat to Independent candidate; Sarah Wekomba. She again regained her seat after the 2021 general elections.
Alex Aadroa Onzima is a Ugandan politician. He was the State Minister in the Office of the Vice President in the Ugandan cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. Prior to that from 27 May 2011 until 6 June 2016, he served as the State Minister for Local Government. He replaced Perez Ahabwe. Onzima also served as the elected member of parliament, representing Maracha County, Maracha District in the 9th Parliament.
John Chrysestom Muyingo is a Ugandan educator and politician. He is the State Minister for Higher Education in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. He previously served as the State Minister for Primary Education from 1 March 2015 until 5 June 2016. Before that, from 27 May 2011 until 1 March 2015, he served as the State Minister for Higher Education, having replaced Mwesigwa Rukutana in May 2011. Muyingo was also the elected Member of Parliament for Bamunanika County, Luweero District. In the 2021 general elections he lost the seat to his former campaign manager and personal assistant, Robert Ssekitoleko who run on the National Unity Platform party ticket.
Frank Kagyigyi Tumwebaze is a Ugandan educator and politician of the National Resistance Movement political party. He is the Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, effective 8 June 2021.
Ali Kirunda Kivejinja, more commonly known as Kirunda Kivejinja, was a veteran Ugandan politician and senior presidential advisor to the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni. He at the time of his demise was the Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister without portfolio in the Ugandan Cabinet.
Beti Olive Namisango Kamya-Turomwe, also known as Betty Kamya and Beti Kamya, is a businesswoman and politician in Uganda, the third-largest economy in the East African Community. She is the Inspector General of Government in Uganda, since 16 July 2021.
Monica Azuba Ntege is a Ugandan engineer and politician. She was the Minister of Works and Transport in the Ugandan Cabinet. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016 replacing John Byabagambi, who became Minister for Karamoja. She was replaced by Katumba Wamala in the cabinet on 14 December 2019.
Sam Mangusho Cheptoris is a Ugandan politician. He is the Cabinet Minister of Water and Environment in the Cabinet of Uganda. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. In 2021 he was elected as member of parliament for Kapchorwa Municipality.
William Byaruhanga is a Ugandan lawyer and businessman. He served as the Attorney General of Uganda in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016, replacing Fred Ruhindi, who was dropped from cabinet.. He himself was replaced on June 5, 2021 by Kiryowa Kiwanuka.
Dennis Galabuzi Ssozi also Dennis Galabuzi Ssozi, is a Ugandan civil engineer, politician and businessman. He is the State Minister for Luweero Triangle in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016, replacing Sarah Kataike, who was dropped from cabinet. Galabuzi Ssozi also serves as the elected member of parliament, representing Busiro North Constituency, in Wakiso District, in the 10th Parliament of Uganda (2016–2021).
David Karubanga, is a Ugandan politician. He was the State Minister of Public Service in the Ugandan Cabinet from 2016-2021 when he was dropped in a cabinet reshuffle. He was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. He is the current representative of Kigorobya County Constituency, in Hoima District, in the 11th Ugandan Parliament. He was first elected to the position in 2016.
Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde, also Rosemary Nansubuga Sseninde, is a Ugandan educator and politician. She was the State Minister for Primary Education in the Ugandan Cabinet for five years. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016, replacing John Chrysostom Muyingo who became State Minister for Higher Education. She was succeeded by Joyce Moriku.
Charles Okello Macodwogo Engola, commonly known as Charles Okello (Macodwogo) Engola, was a Ugandan politician and a retired colonel in the Uganda People's Defence Force. He was the State Minister for Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations in the Ugandan Cabinet, as well as the Member of Parliament representing Oyam North County when he was shot and killed by his bodyguard. Previously, he had held the position of Minister of State for Defence.
