Abdulla Khaleel (born 12 February 1975) is a Maldivian politician who is Minister of Health. [1] He holds a PhD in Public Policy and wrote his thesis on Decentralizing Maldives in 2015. [2]
At first,Khaleel was an Assistant teacher at Faaf Atoll Education Centre,F.Nilandhoo. He was responsible for teaching Financial Accounting and Economics for London GCE O level classes. From November 2004 to April 2005,he was a part-time lecturer at International Islamic College,Malaysia. Aftter that he was a part-time lecturer at Maldivian Academy for Professional Studies(MAPS) from January 2005 to May 2006. He was then a part-time lecturer at Villa College,Maldives from July to December 2010. Khaleel started serving the government in 1997,he has held senior positions in the Ministry of Finance. [1] He previously served as an MP for Nilandhoo Constituency from 2019 to 2023,as well as Secretary General of Civil Service Commission. and Secretary General at the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM). Whil he served for the People's Majilis,he was the Chairman of Parliamentary Economic Affairs Committee. He had also served as the Atoll Chief of Alif Alif Atoll from May 2006 to May 2007 as well as the Atoll chief of Noon Atoll from June 2007 to June 2008. Khaleel had also worked as an Assistant Supervisor at Maldives Ports Authority. [2] [3] [4]

Once in office,they could be re-elected to a second 5-year term,which is the limit allowed by the Constitution. The current President of the Maldives is Mohamed Muizzu,when his predecessor,Ibrahim Mohamed Solih lost the 2023 Maldivian presidential election.
Maumoon Abdul Gayoom is a Maldivian politician who served as President of the Maldives from 1978 to 2008. After serving as transport minister,he was nominated president by the People's Majlis and succeeded Ibrahim Nasir in 1978. He was defeated in 2008 during the first Presidential Elections after democratic reforms in the Maldives. He holds the nations highest award,"The Most Honourable Order of Distinguished Rule of Ghaazee",presented to him in 2013. Maumoon was the longest-serving president in Asia.
Al Ameer Ibrahim Nasir Rannabandeyri Kilegefan,KCMG,NGIV commonly known as Ibrahim Nasir,was a Maldivian politician adhering to the non-aligned ideology and staunch anti-imperialist. Nasir served as the Prime Minister of the Maldives from 1957 to 1968 under the monarchy,and later the first President of the Second Republic of Maldives from 1968 to 1978. Nasir served two terms,then he decided to retire,even though the People's Majlis voted him in for a third term. Nasir is remembered as an independence hero for guiding the Maldives to independence from the British Empire,he is also credited for establishing the tourism industry in the Maldives,as well as rapidly modernizing and developing the country and economy.
Fuvahmulah is an island (atoll) in the Maldives. It is under Maldives’administrative division of Gnaviyani Atoll. The island is the second southernmost administrative atoll,located to the south of Huvadhu Atoll and to the north of Seenu Atoll. It’s also the third most populous island after Maléand Addu.
Mohamed Nasheed GCSK,also known as Anni,is a Maldivian politician and activist who served as president of the Maldives from 2008 until his resignation in 2012. A founding member of the Maldivian Democratic Party,he subsequently served as the 19th speaker of the People's Majlis from May 2019 until his resignation in November 2023. He is the first democratically elected president of the Maldives and the only president to resign from office. He is currently a member of The Democrats.

It is the largest and most populated island in the region,and includes historical sites such as foah'mathi and Aasaari Miskiy and a school. Foah'mathi is a historical site with a Buddhist temple under it,while Aasaari Miskiy is the second mosque built in the Maldives.
