Lieutenant General Abdullah Dogar HI(M) is a retired three-star general of the Pakistan Army. During his military career,he held several key command positions,including Corps Commander of II Corps in Multan and Chairman of Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT).
Dogar was commissioned into the Armoured Corps on 11 September 1986 as part of the 74th Pakistan Military Academy Long Course. [1]
In October 2017,he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general and appointed as the Corps Commander of II Corps in Multan,succeeding Lieutenant General Sarfraz Sattar. [2] He served in this position until September 2018,when he was succeeded by Lieutenant General Muhammad Naeem Ashraf. [3]
Following his tenure as Corps Commander,Dogar was appointed as the Chairman of Heavy Industries Taxila,where he served until his retirement on 16 April 2020. [4]
