Abdullah Sakkijha Jewelry is a jewelry brand founded in 1970, operating in Jordan and across the region. [1] [2] [3] The jewelry have been worn by famous pan region celebrities, including Jordanian actress Saba Mubarak at the 78th Venice Film Festival, and Angolian model Maria Borges alongside Egyptian actress Hana El Zahed at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. History

Abdullah Sakkijha Jewelry was founded by Mohammad Sakkijha in Jordan, in 1970. [7] [8] Sakkijha, being from a family with experience in culture, established his jewelry showroom in Sweifieh, Amman [9] [10] [11] [12] Abdullah Sakkijha Jewelry was recognized as the top Jewelry Designer of 2023 at the 14th Arab Satellite Festival. [13] At the same year, he received a Certificate of Appreciation for his involvement in the "Kotler Jordan" project by publication of the "Essentials of Modern Marketing – First Jordan Edition." [14] [15] [16] [17]

In 2023, Abdullah Sakkijha introduced a new collection called "Rajein," drawing inspiration from the Palestinian cause. [18] The collection includes symbols reflecting the Palestinian struggle for land rights. [19] [20] In the same year, Fox Collection (inspired by the Arabian Fox) [21] and Solar System Collection were represented too. [22] [23] [24]

Falafel Cart is a 2019 animated short drama film produced by RoyalTales and directed by Abdullah Al-Wazzan with an original score by Dan Phillipson and sound design by Andrew Vernon. The short blends stop motion animation with traditional and some computer animation. In 2019, the film was submitted for the 2020 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film making it Kuwait's first short film to ever be submitted to the Academy Awards. In 2020 The film earned an official selection at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival and received a special mention as "best of the world". In 2021 the film won best animated short at the Burbank International Film Festival. In 2019 the film won best international short film at the Los Angeles Animation Festival.

Abdullah Al-Wazzan is a Kuwaiti film director, screenwriter, film producer and Architect. He was born in Kuwait City, Kuwait in 1990. Al-Wazzan developed an interest in filmmaking in his early preteens. At the age of 17 he studied Architecture, And graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Architecture. He went on to create the animated short film Falafel Cart (2019) which was officially submitted to the 92nd Academy Awards in the animated short film category making it the first short film from Kuwait to ever be submitted to the Academy Awards.

Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Road, better known as al-Tahliah Street and al-Zaki Street, is a 4.75 km east–west commercial thoroughfare in northern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The street is named after the building of Saline Water Conversion Corporation, which is situated on its westernmost part. Tahliah Street became a popular attraction among youngsters in mid-2000s, especially when the Saudi government introduced free Wi-Fi scheme in the avenue. It hosts several outlets of multinational chains of restaurants and cafeterias. The street has been compared to the Champs-Élysées avenue in Paris, France and most of its visitors flock during weekends, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and national holidays.

Margab Fort, also known as al-Zirin Fort, was a citadel in the eastern outskirts of the walled town of Riyadh in present-day Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is not known by whom the structure was built, but the its origins trace as far back as the 16th century. The fort functioned as a security checkpoint for travelers passing through the town at the time of Second Saudi State in the 19th century. It was first restored by Turki bin Abdullah and the tradition of Iftar cannon was introduced during the reign of Faisal bin Turki. It was again restored in 1936 by King Abdulaziz ibn Saud and finally demolished in the period between 1954 and 1957 during the reign of King Saud bin Abdulaziz when the city underwent expansion. The fort lent its name to the Margab neighborhood in the city's downtown, where it stood.
