Abdullah Sayid al-Mansoori is a Bahraini naval officer. He held several senior command positions, including Commander Royal Bahrain Naval Force, [1] Commander Combined Task Force 152, [2] and Commander Flotilla. Al-Mansoori also has a PhD in international relations [3] and was awarded the Legion of Merit. [4] He is currently the head of the national defence college of Bahrain. [5]

Combined Task Force 150

Combined Task Force 150 (CTF-150) is a multinational coalition naval task force working under the 33-nation coalition of Combined Maritime Forces and is based in Bahrain established to monitor, board, inspect, and stop suspect shipping to pursue the "Global War on Terrorism" and in the Horn of Africa region (HOA) includes operations in the North Arabia Sea to support operations in the Indian Ocean. These activities are referred to as Maritime Security Operations (MSO).

Combined Task Force 152

The Combined Task Force 152 or CTF-152 is a multinational naval task force, set up in 2004 to coordinate security operations in the Persian Gulf and is one of three task forces operated by Combined Maritime Forces (CMF). In July 2007 a crew from the destroyer USS O'Kane, attached to CTF-152, boarded a North Korean ship suspected of smuggling. CTF 152 cooperates with the naval and coast guard forces of different nations of the Persian Gulf region, and its command is rotated among member nations. Bahrain was the first Gulf Cooperation Council state to take command of the task force, in 2008.

International Maritime Security Construct Consortium

The International Maritime Security Construct (IMSC) is a consortium of countries officially tasked with maintaining order and security in the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, Gulf of Aden and Southern Red Sea, particularly regarding maritime security of global oil supply routes. It was formed on 16 September 2019 in Bahrain, by the United Kingdom, Australia, Albania, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Lithuania, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. The operational arm of the IMSC is Coalition Task Force SENTINEL.
