Early life and education

Chandrachud was born in India and completed his undergraduate studies in law at the Government Law College, Mumbai. He later completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Stanford Law School. ^{[4] [5]}

Personal life

Chandrachud is the son of D. Y. Chandrachud, the former Chief Justice of India, and comes from a family with a legal background. ^[2] His grandfather, Y. V. Chandrachud, also served as the Chief Justice of India. ^[6]
