Ondo Town is the second largest town in Ondo State, Nigeria. Ondo Town is the trade center for the surrounding region; commercial crops such as yams, cassava, grain, tobacco and cotton are grown, the latter of which is often used to weave a culturally significant cloth known as Aso Oke fabric, which is commonly used to make clothing amongst the local population. Ondo Town is the largest producer of cocoa products in the region.

Her song "Way Maker" received three nominations and won the Song of the Year at the 51st GMA Dove Awards, making her the first Nigerian to win the Award. She also won the BMI song of the year, and in 2021 was recognized by the US Congress while on tour in the United States of America.

Mercy Nnenda Chinwo professionally known as Mercy Chinwo but currently known as Mercy Chinwo-Blessed is a Nigerian Gospel Musician, singer, actress and songwriter. She was signed to EeZee Conceptz in 2017. In 2018, she released the single "Excess Love".
Elizabeth Aishat Anjorin is a Nigerian female actor and movie producer, predominantly in the Nigerian Yoruba movie industry.
Abiodun Duro-Ladipo is a Nigerian actress and singer of noble Yoruba birth. In 1963, she joined the theatre company of Duro Ladipo, whom she married the following year. Acting in her husband's epic plays, she was particularly successful in the role of Oya in Oba Koso and in the title role of Moremi. In the 1960s and early 1970s, she appeared across Europe at several international festivals. Since her husband's death in 1978, Abiodun has appeared in Nigerian television series and in films promoting African culture, once again playing Moremi in the 2009 film of the same name.
The fashion industry in Nigeria plays an important cultural role and contributes significantly to the country's economy. Clothing incorporates a variety of colours, fabrics, and embellishments. Many of the component cultures of Nigeria wear styles that are characteristic of their tribal society and customs. Nigeria produces fashionable textiles and finished garments and has designers who have achieved international recognition.
Shade Thomas-Fahm, born Victoria Omọ́rọ́níkẹ Àdùkẹ́Fọlashadé Thomas, is a Nigerian fashion designer. She regarded as Nigeria's first modern fashion designer" and pioneer. She was the first fashion designer to open a fashion boutique in Nigeria. Fahm brought attention to the Nigerian fashion industry. Her enduring impact was celebrated at London's Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London in 2022.
