Abdulkadir Abukar Mohamed (Somali : Maxamed Abuukar; born 1 January 1999) is a Finnish footballer who plays as a midfielder.

Club career

Mohamed was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, but at 3 years old emigrated to Tampere with his parents. Mohamed started his career in Finland with TPV U19 and then went on to play for TPS. In 2017 Mohamed got signed by Lazio. In July 2019 signed a one year loan deal with Ukrainian side FC Karpaty Lviv. [1]

The Somali Football Federation (SFF), was founded in 1951, and it is one of the national administrative governing bodies of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) responsible for organizing and controlling the sport of football and its competitions in the Federal Republic of Somalia, they also manage the Somalia national football team. In 1962, the SFF became a FIFA member. It later joined CAF in 1968, and the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) in 1974. Ahmed Hassan Abukar also known as Khattab al-Kene, was a Somali mass murderer and al-Shabaab militant who perpetrated the 2013 Westgate shopping mall attack with three other members of al-Shabaab. The attack left 67 civilians and police dead and left a further 173 injured. All four attackers were killed, including Abukar.
