Albuko is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Debub Wollo Zone, Abuko is bordered on the south by Semien Shewa Zone, on the west by Were Ilu, on the north by Dessie Zuria, on the northeast by Kalu, and on the east by Oromia Zone.
Based on the 2007 national census conducted by the Central Statistical Agency of Ethiopia (CSA), this woreda has a total population of 77,167, of whom 38,462 are men and 38,705 women; 3,465 or 4.49% are urban inhabitants. The majority of the inhabitants were Muslim, with 94.22% reporting that as their religion, while 5.69% of the population said they practiced Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity. [1]

Beyeda is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Located in the easternmost point of the Semien Gondar Zone, Beyeda is bordered on the south by the Wag Hemra Zone,
Simada is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Debub Gondar Zone, Simada is bordered on the southeast by the Bashilo River which separates it from the Debub Wollo Zone, on the southwest by the Abay River which separates it from the Misraq Gojjam Zone, on the west by Misraq Este, on the north by Lay Gayint, and on the northeast by Tach Gayint. Part of this woreda's boundary with Este is defined by the Wanka, a tributary of the Abay. The major town in Simada is Wegeda.
Meket is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. It is named after a former district located approximately in this area. Located on the western side of the Semien Wollo Zone, Meket is bordered on the south by Wadla and Dawunt, on the west by the Debub Gondar Zone, on the northwest by Bugna, on the north by Lasta, on the northeast by Gidan, and on the east by Guba Lafto. The administrative center of Meket is Filakit Gereger; other settlements include Agrit, Arbit, Gashena and Debre Zebit.
Wadla is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia; it is named for the former district which lay roughly in the same area. Part of the Semien Wollo Zone, Wadla is bordered on the southeast by Delanta, on the southwest by Dawunt, on the north by Meket, and on the northeast by Guba Lafto. The major town in Wadla is Kone.
Mekdela is a woreda in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Wollo, Mekdela is bordered on the southwest by the Walo Shabatala River which separates it from Sayint, on the west by Semien Gondar Zone, on the north by the Bashilo River which separates it from the Semien Wollo Zone, and on the east by Tenta. The major town in Mekdelais Masha.
Tenta is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Debub Wollo Zone, Tenta is bordered on the south by Legambo, on the southwest by Sayint, on the west by Magdala, on the north by the Bashilo River which separates it from Semien Wollo Zone, on the northeast by Amba Sel, on the east by Kutaber and on the southeast by Dessie Zuria. The administrative center of this woreda is Ajebar; other towns in Tenta include Amba Mariam, and Tenta.
Sayint is one of the districts of Ethiopia in the Amhara Region. It is named after the historic district of Amhara Sayint. Part of the South Wollo Zone, Sayint is bordered on the south by Debre Sina and Mehal Sayint, on the west by the Blue Nile that separates it from the East Gojjam Zone, on the northwest by the Bashilo River that separates it from the South Gondar Zone, on the north by Magdala, on the east by Tenta and on the southeast by Legambo. The major town in Sayint is Sayint Ajebar. Mehal Sayint was created by separating it from Sayint.
Debre Sina, now Borena Sayint is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Debub Wollo Zone, Debre Sina is bordered on the south by Wegde, on the west by the Abbay River which separates it from the Misraq Gojjam Zone, on the north by Mehal Sayint, on the northeast by Sayint, and on the east by Legambo. The administrative center is Mekane Selam; other towns in Debre Sina include Amsale Genet.
Kelala is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Debub Wollo Zone, Kelala is bordered on the south by the Semien Shewa Zone, on the southwest by the Walaqa River which separates it from the Oromia Region, on the west by Wegde, on the north by Legambo, on the northeast by Legahida, and on the east by Jama. Towns in Kelala include Kelala and Liguama. Kelala town is 157 km far from Dessie in the Western direction.
Wegde is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Debub Wollo Zone, Wegde is bordered on the south by the Walaqa River which separates it from the Oromia Region, on the west by the Abay River which separates it from the Misraq Gojjam Zone, on the north by Debre Sina, on the northeast by Legambo, and on the east by Kelala. The major town in Wegde is Mahdere Selam.
SekotaZuria is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Located in the Wag Hemra Zone, Sekota is bordered on the south by Gazbibla, on the southwest by Dehana, on the west by Zikuala, on the north by Abergele, and on the east by the Tigray Region. The separate woreda of town of Soqota is surrounded by Sekota. Abergele woreda was separated from Sekota.
Dehana is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. It is named for one of the five clans of the Agaw. Part of the Wag Hemra Zone, Dehana is bordered on the south by the Semien (North) Wollo Zone, on the west by the Tekezé River which separates it from the Debub (South) Gondar Zone and the Semien (North) Gondar Zone, on the north by Zikuala, on the northeast by Soqota, and on the east by Gazbibla. Gazbibla woreda was separated from Dehana.

The administrative center of this woreda is Meragna; other towns include Rema.
Goncha Siso Enese is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia.Part of the Misraq Gojjam Zone. It has 2 town and 41 rural kebeles. Goncha Siso Enese is bordered on the south by Enarj Enawga, on the west by Hulet Ej Enese, on the north by the Abay River which separates it from the Debub Gondar Zone, and on the east by Enbise Sar Midir. The major town in Goncha Siso Enese is Ginde Weyin.
Enbise Sar Midir is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. This woreda is named in part after the historic district of Enbise, which was first mentioned in the 16th century. Part of the Misraq Gojjam Zone, Enbise Sar Midir is bordered on the south by Enarj Enawga, on the west by Goncha Siso Enese, and on the north and east by Abay River which separates it from the Debub Gondar Zone and Debub Wollo Zone. The administrative center of this woreda is Merto Lemariam; other towns in Enbise Sar Midir include Dibo.

Machakel is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Misraq Gojjam Zone, Machakel is bordered on the south by Debre Elias, on the northwest by the Mirab Gojjam Zone, on the east by Sinan, and on the southeast by Guzamn. Towns in Machakel include Amanuel. Woreda of Debre Elias was separated from Machakel.
Shebel Berenta is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia, named after two older districts which occupy the area this woreda currently covers: Berenta which is north of the Mecha river, and Shebel which is south of that stream. Part of the Misraq Gojjam Zone, Shebel Berenta is bordered on the southwest by Dejen, on the northwest by Enemay, on the north by Enarj Enawga, and on the east by the Abay River which separates it from the Oromia Region. The major town in Shebel Berenta is Yed Wuha.
