Chris Hoy British cyclist

Sir Christopher Andrew Hoy, MBE is a British racing driver and former track cyclist from Scotland who represented Great Britain at the Olympic and World Championships and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games.

Jason Paul Queally is an English track cyclist. He won a gold medal at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.

Craig MacLean British cyclist

Craig MacLean MBE is a Scottish track cyclist who has represented Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, winning a silver medal in the Team Sprint at the 2000 Olympics. As a sighted guide, McLean returned to the sport in its Paralympic form, piloting Neil Fachie to two gold medals in the 2011 UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships, and Anthony Kappes to a gold medal in the 2012 Paralympic Games. MacLean is only the second athlete, after Hungarian fencer Pál Szekeres, ever to win medals at both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Ross Edgar Scottish cyclist

Ross Edgar is a Scottish track cyclist who represented Scotland at the 2002 and 2006 Commonwealth Games, where he won a gold medal in the team sprint riding with Chris Hoy and Craig MacLean. He competed for Great Britain at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games

James McCallum is a Scottish former racing cyclist who last rode for the NFTO Pro Cycling squad. He represented Scotland in the Team Pursuit, Points & Scratch Races at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, and again in 2006 in Melbourne in the Scratch, Points & Road Races, winning a bronze medal in the Scratch race.

Jason Niblett Australian cyclist

Jason Niblett is an Australian professional racing cyclist. He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder.

Scott Sunderland (cyclist, born 1988) Australian bicycle racer

Scott Sunderland is an Australian professional racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Continental team Bennelong SwissWellness Cycling Team.

Aileen McGlynn

Aileen McGlynn is a Scottish paralympic tandem cyclist, tandem piloted until 2009 by Ellen Hunter piloted by Helen Scott until 2012 and currently piloted by Louise Haston.

Shane Perkins

Shane Perkins is an Australian and Russian professional track cyclist.

Gillian Cooke is a Scottish track and field athlete and bobsledder. She was born and brought up in Edinburgh, and educated at George Watson's College. She began her sporting career in track and field with Edinburgh Southern Harriers. In 2001, she took fourth place in the triple jump at the Commonwealth Youth Games, and set a Scottish junior record for the pole vault. She set three Scottish senior records in the pole vault in two months in 2002, and was selected to represent Scotland in that event at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

Sam Webster (cyclist) New Zealand cyclist

Sam Webster is a New Zealand track cyclist. He was the 2009 sprint, keirin and team sprint World Champion at the Junior World Championships and New Zealand national track cycling champion. He won gold medals at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the individual sprint and the team sprint.

City of Edinburgh Racing Club

The City of Edinburgh Racing Club is a cycling club based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The club is said to be the most successful club in British track cycling; its members having won numerous national and international medals.

Neil Fachie

Neil Fachie MBE is a British Paralympic multiple sports athlete competing in events for individuals with a visual impairment. Fachie has entered two Paralympics, as a sprinter in the 2008 Games in Beijing and as a tandem cyclist in London 2012. In London he won the gold medal in the Men's individual 1 km time trial and silver in the individual sprint, both with Barney Storey as his sighted pilot.

Hayley Jones (cyclist) Welsh racing cyclist

Hayley Louise Jones is a Welsh racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Women's Team WNT–Rotor Pro Cycling. From Port Talbot, Jones was a member of the record breaking, gold medal winning, British team pursuit squad at the Juniors world championships in 2013.

Rachel Sarah James is a Welsh racing cyclist specializing in track cycling.

Charline Joiner

Charline Joiner is a Scottish racing cyclist from Dunfermline, a Commonwealth Games silver medalist. She is the sister of Scottish rugby international Craig Joiner. Her father Mike and sister Kerry represented Scotland in triathlon and hockey respectively.

Sophie Thornhill, is a vision impaired English former racing cyclist who competed in para-cycling tandem track events. She is a double world champion, with pilot Rachel James, and a double Commonwealth gold medallist, with pilot Helen Scott, in the tandem sprint and 1 km time trial events. In April 2014, she set world records in the tandem sprint and 1 km time trial, piloted by James.

Callum Skinner

Callum Skinner is a British former track cyclist. He won the silver medal in the individual sprint at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and was a member of the British team that won gold in the team sprint.

The 2016–17 UCI Track Cycling World Cup was a multi-race series over a track cycling season. It was the 25th edition of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup organised by the UCI. The series ran from 4 November 2016 to 26 February 2017 and consisted of four rounds.

1970 Commonwealth Paraplegic Games

The Third Commonwealth Paraplegic Games was a multi-sport event that was held in Edinburgh, Scotland from 26 July to 1 August 1970. Dubbed the "little games", they followed the 1970 British Commonwealth Games which were held in Edinburgh from 16 to 25 July of that year.
