Acting Ka Bhoot is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language comedy directed by Shashank Kumar and produced by Shashank Kumar himself along with Manoj chaudhary and Mermaid Studio.The film stars Aham Sharma [1] alongside Rajni Katiyar, Saanand Verma, Ishtiyak Khan, Lilliput and others. The film revolves around the lives of two con artists who, amidst their deceptive schemes, find an unexpected connection and love blossoms between them. [2]

Synopsis

The film follows two con artists with shattered dreams and disillusioned lives. Set against the backdrop of Lucknow, the film delves into their world of deceit, where their lives take a unique turn when they unexpectedly fall in love with each other while attempting to outwit one another. The narrative explores the ups and downs they encounter in their personal lives, and how their ambitions and emotions become entwined in the midst of their con games.

Production

The concept for "Acting Ka Bhoot" originated from director Shashank Kumar who wanted to a comedy film after his film Most Common Budbak during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period when individuals were spending more time indoors. This backdrop of isolation and reflection inspired Kumar to delve into the lives of characters entangled in deception and crime. The majority of the filming took place in Lucknow, adding authenticity to the film's narrative. [3] [4] [5]
