Adam E. Kowalczyk (born September 27, 1975) is an American musician. He is the brother of Ed Kowalczyk, lead singer of the band Live.
Kowalczyk was born in York, Pennsylvania to a family of Polish descent. He began learning the guitar at age 12. While studying in the Radio, Television and Film program at Philadelphia's Temple University, he started writing songs and performing with his first band, Portion. Portion recorded two extended plays and opened for Live and other bands.
In 1999, Adam began playing as the touring rhythm guitarist [2] for Live, a position which he held for 10 years. He appeared as a guest musician on the Live albums The Distance to Here and V and was featured in the band's only concert DVD release, Live at the Paradiso – Amsterdam . During his time with Live, Kowalczyk relocated to Los Angeles and formed the band Adam & the Weight, which released the album Looking Up from the Ground in 2003. By 2005, he was living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and had recorded a solo EP, The Dream.
In January 2011, Adam became lead singer of the Lancaster-based band The Mint.[ citation needed ]

Cave In is an American rock band that formed in 1995 in Methuen, Massachusetts. The band's lineup solidified with the 1998 release of Until Your Heart Stops through Hydra Head Records, and their early albums were prominent in the metalcore scene. The band later experimented with other genres, receiving mainstream recognition for their 2003 RCA Records album Antenna and its lead single "Anchor," which had an overall alternative rock style. The group went on hiatus in 2006, later reforming in 2009 with the release of the Planets of Old EP, followed by the White Silence LP in 2011, both of which saw a return to Cave In's earlier and heavier sound.
The Juliana Theory is an American rock duo from Greensburg and Latrobe, Pennsylvania, United States. They signed to Tooth & Nail Records, and later to Epic Records for the release of the album Love. They released four studio albums before disbanding in 2006. The band has since reunited three times; once in 2010 for eight shows, again in 2017 for a tour celebrating their 20th anniversary along with 2019, Brett Detar and Joshua Fiedler announced a tour, together with the Spill Canvas, performing Juliana Theory songs acoustically. In 2020 The Juliana Theory announced signing with Equal Vision Records and released their debut EVR single "Can't Go Home" on November 20, 2020.
