Adama Boiro Boiro (born 22 June 2002) is a footballer who plays as a left-back for Bilbao Athletic. Born in Senegal, he is a naturalised citizen of Spain. [2]

Early life

Born in Dakar, Senegal, Boiro moved with his family to Spain at the age of four. [3]

Career

Boiro started his senior career with CA Osasuna's reserve side, Promesas, where he made his debut on 11 September 2021 during a 1–0 win over CD Laredo and came to be regarded as one of their most important players and a prospect for the senior team. [4]

In January 2024, Athletic Bilbao signed Boiro on a contract running to 2029, after paying his €2 million minimum fee release clause; [3] he was initially assigned to the club's reserves, Bilbao Athletic, and made his debut during a 0–0 draw with UD Barbastro only a few days after arriving.
