A postal code is a series of letters or digits or both, sometimes including spaces or punctuation, included in a postal address for the purpose of sorting mail.
House numbering is the system of giving a unique number to each building in a street or area, with the intention of making it easier to locate a particular building. The house number is often part of a postal address. The term describes the number of any building with a mailbox, or even a vacant lot.

Kadıköy, known in classical antiquity and during the Roman and Byzantine eras as Chalcedon, is a large, populous, and cosmopolitan district in the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey, on the northern shore of the Sea of Marmara. It partially faces the historic city centre of Fatih on the European side of the Bosporus. Kadıköy is also the name of the most prominent neighbourhood of the district, a residential and commercial area that, with its numerous bars, cinemas and bookshops, is the cultural centre of the Anatolian side of Istanbul. Kadıköy became a district in 1928 when it was separated from Üsküdar district. The neighbourhoods of İçerenköy, Bostancı and Suadiye were also separated from the district of Kartal in the same year, and eventually joined the newly formed district of Kadıköy. Its neighbouring districts are Üsküdar to the northwest, Ataşehir to the northeast, Maltepe to the southeast, and Kartal beyond Maltepe.
Beyoğlu is a district on the European side of İstanbul, Turkey, separated from the old city by the Golden Horn. It was known as the region of Pera surrounding the ancient coastal town Galata which faced Constantinople across the Horn. Beyoğlu continued to be named Pera during the Middle Ages and, in western languages, into the early 20th century.
Şişli is one of the 39 districts of Istanbul, Turkey. Located on the European side of the city, it is bordered by Beşiktaş to the east, Sarıyer to the north, Eyüp and Kağıthane to the west, and Beyoğlu to the south. In 2009, Şişli had a population of 316,058.

Darüşşafaka High School is a school in Maslak, Istanbul, Turkey. The school was founded by the Darüşşafaka Association with the name "Islamic Education Association" in 1873. This date is disputed, with some sources claiming it was 1872. However, there is a consensus that the school started formal education in 1873 in the Fatih district of Istanbul, on the street named after the school, Darüşşafaka Caddesi, and gained its first graduates in 1881. The school moved to its current location in 1994. However, the street still holds the name of Darüşşafaka as the side street in front of the school's gate, Darüşşafaka Ön Sokak also does.
Abdi İpekçi Street or Abdi İpekçi Avenue is one of the premier shopping streets of İstanbul, Turkey, located in the Şişli district. Büyükdere Avenue is a major avenue which runs through the districts of Şişli, Beşiktaş and Sarıyer on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey. It begins at Şişli Mosque and runs in an eastward direction partly under the viaduct of the inner-city motorway O-1 through Mecidiyeköy, Esentepe, until reaching Zincirlikuyu; where it joins with Barbaros Boulevard and turns northward passing through Levent, Sanayi Mahallesi, Maslak and by the Fatih Forest, ending at the Hacıosman Slope on the Sarıyer district border. Its total length is 14 km (8.7 mi). From Zincirlikuyu to Maslak, it forms a border line between the districts of Kağıthane in the east and Beşiktaş in the west. It is named after the Büyükdere neighborhood of Sarıyer district, where it connects to. It is a major artery of the Istanbul Central Business District, which is not located in the historic center of the city.
Kültür is a residential and commercial neighborhood within the Konak district of İzmir, Turkey. The neighborhood consists of mostly medium-density apartments for upper-middle class to upper-class residents. Despite being a separate neighborhood, Kültür is commonly referred to as Alsancak as the official name of the neighborhood is used mainly in addresses or on official listings.
