Adele Tulli (born 1982) is a film director and researcher from Rome, Italy.

Life and career

In 2018 Tulli completed a practice-based PhD at Roehampton University in London, exploring subversive film aesthetics within queer and feminist contexts. She also teaches non-fiction and experimental cinema. [1]

She made her debut as a director with her 2011 film, 365 Without 377.

Tulli’s works have been screened and exhibited internationally at the Berlinale, the Lincoln Center in New York City, the MAXXI Museum in Rome, and the ICA in London. [1] [2]

Her 2019 documentary film Normal was screened in the Panorama section at the Berlin International Film Festival. [3]

Teaching and professorship

Tulli is a current faculty member of the John Cabot University as an assistant professor within the Communications and Media Studies department since 2025. [4] [5]
