Adelphi is an unincorporated area and census-designated place in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 15,086 at the 2010 United States Census. Adelphi includes the following subdivisions; Adelphi, Adelphi Park, Adelphi Hills, Adelphi Terrace, Adelphi Village, Buck Lodge, Chatham, Cool Spring Terrace, Hillandale Forest, Holly Hill Manor, Knollwood, Lewiston, and White Oak Manor.
Langley Park is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. It is located inside the Capital Beltway, on the northwest edge of Prince George's County, bordering Montgomery County. Langley Park is contained between University Boulevard to the south, the Northwest Branch Anacostia River to the north, Phelps Road to the east, and the Prince Georges County / Montgomery County line to the west. An extremely small stretch of Piney Branch Road which goes into Prince George's County, goes into the Langley Park neighborhood as well, just before it crosses the Northwest Branch Anacostia River and intersects New Hampshire Avenue. While most of the Langley Park neighborhood contains the Hyattsville postal zip code of 20783, there is a small portion of Langley Park located west of New Hampshire Avenue, but east of the Prince George's County/ Montgomery County Line, which contains the Silver Spring postal zip code of 20903. Langley Park is surrounded by the communities of Adelphi, Silver Spring, Takoma Park, Carole Highlands, and Lewisdale. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 18,755.
College Park–University of Maryland is a Washington Metro station in Prince George's County, Maryland on the Green Line and Yellow Line. It also serves MARC's Camden Line.
The Purple Line is a 16.2-mile (26.1 km) light rail line under construction to link the Maryland suburbs of Bethesda, Silver Spring, College Park, and New Carrollton, all in the Washington metropolitan area. The line will allow riders to move between the Maryland branches of the Red, Green, and Orange lines of the Washington Metro without needing to ride into central Washington, D.C., and will also offer transfers to all three lines of the MARC commuter rail system. The project is administered by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA).

The Highway 7 Rapidway in York Region, Ontario, Canada, is a bus rapid transit right-of-way that runs from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre subway station in Vaughan to Warden Avenue in Markham. There are plans to extend it west to Highway 50 and east to Cornell Terminal. It is served by Viva Purple, Viva Pink, Viva Orange and Viva Green bus routes.

Riverdale Park is a light rail station that is currently under construction. It will be part of the Purple Line in Maryland. The station will be located southeast of the intersection of East West Highway and Kenilworth Avenue.
The New Carrollton–Fort Totten Line, designated Route F6, is a weekday-only bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between the New Carrollton Orange Line station of the Washington Metro and the Fort Totten station on the Red and Green Lines. The line operates every 30 minutes during peak hours and 60 minutes all other times, weekdays only. F6 trips are roughly 60 minutes. When Parkdale High School is open, select trips are added to the F6 to operate between New Carrollton station and Prince George's Plaza station only.
The Riggs Road Line, designated as Routes R1 & R2, is a daily bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between Fort Totten station of the Red Line and Green Line of the Washington Metro & Calverton. Routes R1 & R2 operate every 20 minutes during peak hours and route R2 operates every 35-60 minutes at other times on weekdays, and 60 minutes on the weekends. R1 trips are roughly 32 minutes and R2 trips are roughly 55 minutes.
The Greenbelt–Twinbrook Line, designated Route C2 or Route C4, are daily bus routes operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between Greenbelt station (C2) or Prince George's Plaza station (C4) of the Green Line and Wheaton station (C2) or Twinbrook station (C4) of the Red Line of the Washington Metro. Both lines operate every 20–30 minutes during peak hours and 24–30 minutes at other times on weekdays and Saturdays, and 30–40 minutes on Sundays. Trips would take roughly 60 minutes for both routes. On Sundays however, the C2 is shortened to operate between Takoma Langley Crossroads Transit Center and Greenbelt Station, which only which takes 30 minutes. Both lines connect northern Prince George's County to Montgomery County via the University Boulevard East/West corridor.
The College Park–White Flint Line, designated Route C8, is a bus route that operates Monday to Saturday that is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between College Park–University of Maryland station of the Green Line and White Flint station of the Red Line of the Washington Metro. The line operates every 30–33 minutes at all times. Trips are roughly 70-90 minutes long.
