Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ is a former Jamaican cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001,captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He is a fast bowler and considered one of the all-time greats,best known for a remarkable opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years. Walsh played 132 Tests and 205 ODIs for the West Indies and took 519 and 227 wickets respectively. He shared 421 Test wickets with Ambrose in 49 matches. He held the record of most Test wickets from 2000,after he broke the record of Kapil Dev. This record was later broken in 2004 by Shane Warne. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket. His autobiography is entitled "Heart of the Lion". Walsh was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1987. In October 2010,he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He was appointed as the Specialist Bowling Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team in August 2016.
Shivnarine "Shiv" Chanderpaul CCH is a Guyanese cricket coach and former captain of the West Indies cricket team. Considered one of the greatest batsmen of his era,Chanderpaul is the 10th highest run scorer of all time in International cricket and the 8th highest in Test cricket. Chanderpaul was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy,and in the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy Final,he had the highest contribution for West Indies with the bat,scoring 47 runs.

Jerome Everton Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who has played as a fast bowler for the West Indies. Taylor eventually picked up 100 wickets for the Windies in both tests and odis. During 2017 he reversed an initial decision to retire from international cricket. Taylor has also featured for Jamaica,English sides Somerset,Leicestershire and Sussex,CPL teams St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs and IPL sides Pune Warriors and Mumbai Indians in his cricketing career. Taylor was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup. He is the only bowler to have ever taken a hat-trick in a Champions Trophy match,which he did in the 2006 tournament against Australia,and that was the first hat-trick taken by a West Indian bowler in the ODI format.
Devon Sheldon Smith is a former cricketer who featured as an opening or top order left-handed batsman. He played for the West Indies and for the Windward Islands in regional tournaments. Smith is also,with a sum of 11,321 runs,the highest runscorer in the history of West Indian first class cricket competitions.
Daren Julius Garvey Sammy is a Saint Lucian cricketer who played international cricket for the West Indies. He is currently serving as the head coach of the West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket. On making his One-Day International (ODI) debut against Bangladesh in 2004,Sammy became the first person from the island of St Lucia to play international cricket. Three years later he made his Test debut against England,taking 7/66 which were the best bowling figures for a West Indian in his first Test since Alf Valentine in 1950. Under his captaincy West Indies win the 2012 and 2016 ICC WorldTwenty20. He is the only captain to win the T20 World Cup twice. He was also a member of the West Indies team that won the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy.
The 2005–06 West Indian cricket season includes all domestic cricket matches played by senior teams with first-class status in the West Indies between October 2005 and March 2006,and also the international feats of the West Indies team,who is not scheduled to play any home games during this period but are to play home matches during April,May and June 2006. The season began on 2005-10-03 with the first matches of the one-day KFC Cup and is scheduled to last until 2006-03-19 when England A depart after their tour which will include one-day and first-class matches against the West Indies A team. A right-handed batsman,right-arm medium pace bowler and occasional wicket-keeper,he played two One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the United States national cricket team in the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy,having previously played first-class and List A cricket for Trinidad &Tobago.
Janeiro J Tucker is a Bermudian cricketer,who captained the Bermudian cricket team in their first ever One Day International when they played Canada on 17 May 2006;Tucker took 2/29 off nine overs and scored 17 as Bermuda won the rain-affected game by three wickets under the Duckworth-Lewis method. He has since gone on to play in 26 ODIs for Bermuda.

Nikita O'Brien Miller is a West Indian cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies and domestic cricket for Jamaica. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and lower-order batsman. He was the leading wicket taker in the 2007–08 Carib Beer Challenge and in June 2008 he won his first One Day International cap with the West Indies. The following year he made his Test debut for a weakened West Indies team during a contract dispute.
Ray Ricardo Wynter is a former Jamaican cricketer who played first-class and one-day cricket for Jamaica from 1975 until 1982. A right-handed batsman and right-arm opening bowler,he played 30 matches in all in those formats. In 1983,Wynter participated in a rebel tour of South Africa. As a result,he and all the other players on the tour received a lifetime ban from West Indian cricket. Wynter later emigrated to the United States,and played for the U.S. national team at the 1990 ICC Trophy.
Darren Michael Bravo is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies. A left-handed batsman,his batting style has drawn comparisons with Brian Lara. Bravo is the younger half brother of fellow West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo and his mother is the first cousin of former cricketer Brian Lara. Bravo was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2012 T20 World Cup.
Kraigg Clairmonte Brathwaite is a Barbadian cricketer who captains the West Indies in Test cricket. He is a right-handed batsman and occasionally bowls off breaks. On 6 November 2011,he became only the second West Indian to score two Test fifties before his 19th birthday when he made 63 (212) against India in Delhi. He has also effectively stood as stand-in-captain in place of Jason Holder in seven test matches before becoming the permanent captain of the test team taking over from Holder. He idolises Shivnarine Chanderpaul and his batting style.
Alzarri Shaheim Joseph is an Antiguan cricketer who plays for the West Indies in Tests and ODIs. He plays for Leeward Islands and the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in West Indian domestic cricket. He is an all-rounder who is a right-arm fast bowler and a right handed batsman who was selected by the Mumbai Indians franchise as a replacement for Adam Milne for the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. In 2016,Joseph was named Antigua and Barbuda Sportsman of the Year award. During his under-19 career,Joseph helped the West Indies win the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Sunil Walford Ambris is a Vincentian professional cricketer who has played for the Windward Islands and the Combined Campuses and Colleges in West Indian domestic cricket,as well as representing the St Lucia Zouks franchise in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He was the first player to be dismissed hit-wicket twice in consecutive Tests and the first to be dismissed hit-wicket on test debut.
Lionel Eustace Thomas is a former West Indian cricketer who played both for the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket and for Bermuda internationally.
Derek Abraham is a former international cricketer who represented the Canadian national team in the 1980s. He was born in Dominica,and before emigrating to Canada represented the Windward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket.
