Arantxa King (born 27 November 1989) is a Bermudian athlete competing in the long jump.
King was born in Paget Parish, Bermuda on 27 November 1989. [1] Her mother, Branwen Smith-King, is a former Bermuda national track and field team member while her father Adrian King is a former international cricket player. Her sister Akilah was also an accomplished athlete at Brown University.
King competed at the 2005 IAAF World Youth Championships in Marrakech, Morocco. With a best jump of 6.39 m, she won the World Youth title in women's Long Jump. She competed at the 11th IAAF World Junior Championships in Beijing, China, in 2006, and the 12th IAAF World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, in 2008. She also competed for Bermuda at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and in 2006, she also competed at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. She has competed at the XXX Olympic Games in London, England, in 2012, at the 14th IAAF World Championships in Moscow, Russia, in 2013, and the Commonwealth Games in Scotland, in 2014.
Internationally, King has won a silver medal in long jump at the 2011 Central American and Caribbean Championships in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, [2] and multiple junior medals in Carifta, Pan American Games, and Central American and Caribbean games.
King competed for Stanford University, where she was a two-time All-American and finished as a runner-up at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Championships. [3] She completed a degree in Political Science in 2011 and a master's degree in 2012 at Stanford.[ citation needed ]
She holds the Bermuda national record for the women's long jump, both outdoors and indoors.

Yarisley Silva Rodríguez is a Cuban pole vaulter. She won the silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics – the first Latin American athlete to win an Olympic medal in that event.

Bermuda sent a delegation to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. The games marked Bermuda's twenty-first Olympic appearance since its debut in 1936. The 2008 delegation included six athletes: Tyrone Smith and Arantxa King in long jump, Jillian Terceira in individual jumping on horseback, Kiera Aitken and Roy-Allan Burch in swimming, and Flora Duffy in triathlon. Bermuda did not win any medals in the Beijing games.
Keila da Silva Costa is a Brazilian long jumper and triple jumper. Shara Proctor is a British former long jumper born in Anguilla. She is the national record holder of both Anguilla and Great Britain. On 28 August 2015 at the World Championships in Beijing she became the first British, female, long-jumper to jump over 7 metres (7.07), setting a new British record and earning a world championship silver medal in the process. She also won the 2013 IAAF Diamond League in the event. Her younger sister is the Anguillan sprinter Shinelle Proctor.

Brianne Theisen-Eaton is a retired Canadian track and field athlete who competed in the heptathlon and women's pentathlon. She won the bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Theisen-Eaton holds the Canadian record for the heptathlon with 6,808 points, as well as the indoor pentathlon with a score of 4768 points. Theisen-Eaton is a heptathlon silver medallist from the 2013 World Championships and 2015 World Championships, as well as a pentathlon silver medalist from the 2014 World Indoor Championships. She is the first and only Canadian woman to podium in the multi-events at the World Championships. Theisen-Eaton won Commonwealth Games gold in the heptathlon at Glasgow 2014 and was the 2016 World Indoor Champion in the pentathlon. She also won a bronze medal as part of the women's 4 x 400 m relay at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.
Bermuda competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom from 27 July to 12 August 2012. This was the territory's seventeenth appearance at the Olympics, having missed the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow.
Dailenys Alcántara Pacheco is a Cuban track and field athlete who competes in the triple jump and occasionally the long jump. She was the 2007 World Youth champion then became the first person to win two straight triple jump title at the World Junior Championships in Athletics. She represented Cuba at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics.
Morgan Lake is a British high jumper. She won the silver medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and placed fourth at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Lake finished sixth in the 2017 World Championships in Athletics and fourth in the 2018 World Indoor Championships.
Janieve Russell is a Jamaican track and field athlete who competes mainly in the 400 metres hurdles and the 400 metres sprint. She won an Olympic bronze medal in the 4 × 400 m relay in Tokyo 2021, where she also finished fourth in the 400m hurdles final in a personal best of 53.08 secs. She is a four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, winning the 400m hurdles title in 2018 and 2022, and the 4 × 400 m relay in 2014 and 2018.
