Matthew Stephen Leinart is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played college football for the USC Trojans, winning the Heisman Trophy and leading his team to an undefeated season as a junior, culminating with a victory in the 2004 BCS National Championship. Selected tenth overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2006 NFL Draft, Leinart primarily served as Kurt Warner's backup for four seasons. He spent his final three seasons in a backup role for the Houston Texans and the Oakland Raiders. Leinart was inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2017.
Jammal Filbert Brown is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners, receiving unanimous All-American recognition. Brown was chosen by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He was selected for the Pro Bowl twice and won Super Bowl XLIV with the team. He also played for the Washington Redskins.
Roy Lee Williams, is an American former professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners, earning unanimous All-American honors. He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys eighth overall in the 2002 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals. He earned five straight Pro Bowl selections from 2003 to 2007. Williams was considered by some to be of the most violent hitters in football during his playing career, and sometimes received criticism for his perceived “dirty” play-style. Williams is currently a sideline reporter for Oklahoma football games.
Dusty Dvoracek is an American former professional football player who was a nose guard for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). Selected by the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL) in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft, he played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners and professionally with the Bears from 2006 to 2009 and the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League in 2010–11.
The Oklahoma Sooners football team represents the University of Oklahoma in college football at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision level in the Big 12 Conference. The school has had 29 former players and coaches inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and holds the record for the longest winning streak in Division I history with 47 straight victories. Oklahoma is also the only program with which four coaches have won more than 100 games each.
