Adrien Pinard (1916-1998) was a Canadian psychologist and noted researcher in developmental psychology. [1]
He worked at the Universitéde Montréal from which he retired in 1981 as emeritus Professor of Psychology. [2] [3]
He was the founder of the Quebec Society of Professional Psychology Ordre des psychologues du Québec and was elected President of the Canadian Psychological Association in 1964. [4]
In 2014,a building at UQAM was named in his honour. [6] The Adrien Pinard Prize was established by the SociétéQuébécoise pour la Recherche en Psychologie for an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to psychology. [7]

Endel Tulving was an Estonian-born Canadian experimental psychologist and cognitive neuroscientist. In his research on human memory he proposed the distinction between semantic and episodic memory. Tulving was a professor at the University of Toronto. He joined the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest Health Sciences in 1992 as the first Anne and Max Tanenbaum Chair in Cognitive Neuroscience and remained there until his retirement in 2010. In 2006,he was named an Officer of the Order of Canada (OC),Canada's highest civilian honour.

Anderson is assistant vice president for research and academic affairs,and research professor of social work and nursing at Florida State University. He previously served as chief executive officer of the American Psychological Association (APA),the largest scientific and professional association for psychologists in the United States. Anderson became the APA's first African-American CEO when he was named to the post in 2003. He was the editor for the APA journal American Psychologist. Prior to joining APA,Anderson was an associate director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and held other roles in academia.
Patrick Henry (Pat) DeLeon is an American psychologist,former chief of staff for United States Senator Daniel Inouye and past president of the American Psychological Association (APA). He became an aide for Senator Inouye in 1973,when Inouye served on a committee investigating the Watergate scandal,and remained on the senator's staff for 38 years. After DeLeon's daughter survived meningitis in 1984,he was involved in the establishment of the Emergency Medical Services for Children program. DeLeon helped to create the nursing and pharmacy schools at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo.
