Aetherfx (also Aetherfx, GeistFND, Sellafield and XungTekh [1] ) is the EBM alias of Jacob Tugby, an electronic musician based in the United Kingdom.
Aetherfx was formed in 2005 alongside other lesser known project Sellafield, as an outlet for more aggressive forms of electronic music .
In 2006 Jacob signed to midlands based net-label, TriTech Records with the alias'; Sellafield and Aetherfx. [2]
In 2008 Jacob left TriTech Records, the label disintegrated several months later ending in November 2008.
In 2009 Aetherfx track "Leaving Hope" appeared in Endzeit Bunkertracks by Belgian record label Alfa Matrix. [3] Reaching number 1 in the DAC. [4] This release remained in the DAC top 5 for two months. Aetherfx also produced a remix for Norwegian electro-rock/industrial band Essence of Mind, for the Watch Out E.P; which was released March 2009 on the Alfa Matrix label. [5]
Aetherfx/Jake Tugby is also a member of Industrial Metal band - CeDigest; on Noitekk/Black Rain Records (for Europe) & Deathwatch Asia (for Japan). [6]
Jacob was born in Nottingham, UK. And has lived/based in several areas in the UK including Long Eaton, Leicester and Bournemouth; he attended Ferndown Upper School in Dorset during his high school years. [7]
Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project founded on 13 January 1988 by Claus Larsen. Its influence has been most felt in the electronic body music and electro-industrial genres. Leæther Strip was one of the earliest and most prominent acts on Germany's now defunct Zoth Ommog record label. For distribution outside of Europe, the music has been licensed to the U.S. labels Cleopatra Records and Metropolis Records. After the demise of Zoth Ommog in 1999, Larsen signed to Bloodline Records, which only released a single before also going out of business. In 2005, Leæther Strip signed with the Belgian-based label Alfa Matrix. On 3 June 2011 Larsen announced his split from Alfa Matrix in order to self-release future material.

Tamtrum was an Aggrotech duo from Aix-en-Provence (France), composed of artists Benoit XVI and Sylvicious. They released many singles on many different compilation albums such as Cyberlab Volume 5.0. The friendship of Benoit and Sylvicious started in a French black metal band called Mandragor. When this band broke up, Sylvicious continued with his band Lucky Striker 201 until he met Benoit, who had already composed a couple of songs which would later be included on Some Atomik Songz. They sent demos out to several labels until the French label La Chambre Froide picked up the band. The resulting release after Some Atomik Songz would Versus (2004) - a split CD featuring Lok-8.
Mentallo and the Fixer is the project name used by Texan electro-industrial musicians Gary Dassing (Mentallo) and Dwayne Dassing from 1988 to 1999, and by Gary Dassing alone from 1999 to the present day. The band has several releases on the American record label, Metropolis Records. They are named after two Marvel Comics characters.
Endzeit Bunkertracks is an aggrotech/electro-industrial compilation album series featuring exclusive, deleted and/or hard-to-find tracks. The first volume, or "act", consists of 60 tracks, 50 of them being exclusive. Endzeit Bunkertracks follows a style where the album is divided into four "sessions": Evil, Torture, Damage and Death. The second act was released on 11 May 2006, and the third on 26 November 2007. All three came in 4-CD boxes, limited to 1, 666 copies. The fourth volume was released on 13 February 2009.
Erica Dunham, better known by her stage name Unter Null, founded the solo aggrotech music project in 1998 at the age of 17, while living in Seattle, United States. As of 2012, she is based in Portland, Oregon. Dunham is trained in classical piano, cello and guitar.
Bruderschaft is an electronic music collective led by New York City-based DJ Rexx Arkana. Conceived as a charity project focused on cancer research and treatment in the wake of Arkana's father's death from the disease, Bruderschaft brought together a large number of artists from the underground electronic music scene for the production of the band's first single, "Forever": the collaboration of Arkana (lyrics), Ronan Harris, Sebastian Komor, Joakim Montelius and Stephan Groth.
Dunkelwerk is the name of a German band which describes its sound as Endzeit Electro, referring to a genre which was originally established by bands like Wumpscut and Leæther Strip and is nowadays produced by bands like The Retrosic, Suicide Commando or Hocico. Dunkelwerk consists of only one person and is a pure studio project, not doing any live performances or any other public events. The name of the band is an old German idiom which can be translated as "dark work" or "dark factory". The producer behind Dunkelwerk has decided to work under the pseudonym "losttrooper", being restrained to offer pictures of himself.
