It is reported by Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) to be the most sought-after Nigerian university in 2021. And again in 2023, it was announced by the JAMB Head, Professor Ishaq Oloyede to be the sought-after University, for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), making it for the 10th consecutive year.

He is a materials scientist whose research focuses on biomaterials and the use of nanoparticles for the detection and treatment of disease, the mechanical properties of materials, and the use of materials science to promote global development. He was appointed President at SUNY Polytechnic Institute and began his service on October 2, 2023.

She was the Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering Science, Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, University of Johannesburg (UJ), South Africa. She was also the Vice Dean for Teaching and Learning of the institution. She is a member of Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and a member of African Academy of Sciences.

He has been serving as the Ambassador of the Gambia to Switzerland and permanent representative of the Gambia to the United Nations Organisations at Geneva (UNOG), WTO and other International Organizations in Switzerland since 2020. Prior to his appointment, he was vice president at American University of Nigeria responsible for academic affairs, based in Nigeria since September 2017. Between 2009 and 2015, Kah was Vice Chancellor of University of the Gambia, as the first Gambian born to provide leadership for the University. He also served as founding chairman at Zenith Bank Gambia Limited, a subsidiary of Zenith Bank in The Gambia between 2008 and 2020.
