The Afton Independent School District or Afton Public Schools is a school district based in Afton, Oklahoma (United States).
It includes the communities of Afton and Narcissa in Ottawa County, [1] a section of Bernice in Delaware County, [2] and a section of Craig County. [3]

The county was named for the Ottawa Tribe of Oklahoma. It is also the location of the federally recognized Modoc Nation and the Quapaw Nation, which is based in Quapaw.
